Safety Instructions

Ignoring safety instructions can lead to serious personal injury and damage to the linen and dryer. Always read installation and operating instructions before connecting the machine. Installation by qualified technicians is recommended, following the Installation manual. Ensure proper grounding to avoid electrocution. Avoid high humidity and extreme temperatures. Do not use in a closed-off room without sufficient ventilation. Shut off all supplies at the end of each operating day. Before repair or maintenance, ensure the machine is cooled down and all supply lines are cut off.

Connections

Connection of the central operating panel (for coin operated dryers)

The central payment board (209/00471/50 for 24V and 209/00438/50 for 240V) connects to the central operating panel. Two versions exist based on the operating panel's departure voltage.

Diagrams show connections for 240V AC and 24VDC central panels.

Connection of the serial communication (option)

If the dryer is connected to a payment system with serial communication, this connection should be fixed on printboard (209/00540/00) using an RJ 11 connector. Connect the cable to the free connector on the printboard.

Technical Remarks

Gas Failure

Gas-heated dryers attempt electronic ignition for about 10 seconds. If no flame is detected, the ignition relay enters safety mode. A new ignition attempt occurs when the drying cycle restarts.

Electronic temperature protection

Sail switch

The sail switch, located at the back, interrupts heating if air supply is insufficient (e.g., due to poor exhaust or a dirty filter). The sail switch must move freely. If malfunctioning, "VEn" blinks, and the cycle continues without heating.

Rotation sensor

If the drum stops rotating (e.g., V-belt failure) and the machine has a rotation sensor option, "rot" will blink on the display, and the cycle continues without heating. The sensor is located at the back near the drum axle.

Repair and After-Sales Service
