Kubota M6060/M7060 Diesel Tractor
The new M6060/M7060 diesel tractors deliver optimal performance and easy operation with new clean emissions engines and enhanced ergonomics. These tractors are designed and built with the operator and the environment in mind.
New Clean and Powerful Engine
Kubota's revolutionary Common Rail System (CRS) with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) Muffler technology provides more torque at low RPM, resulting in less emissions and better fuel efficiency. The V3307 CRS engine is designed to minimize noise and vibration through innovative technologies like a ladder frame crankshaft support for a stiffer structure and a gear train on the flywheel side to reduce gear chattering. Vibration is further lowered by compact, built-in balancers. The engine complies with Tier IV EPA emission regulations.

Constant RPM Management: This feature electronically controls engine RPM, keeping it nearly constant with a push of a switch. This prevents reductions in PTO speed during operation, enabling stable performance for PTO-driven implements and improving work accuracy without constant manual adjustments.
Transmissions
A choice of two powerful transmissions is available to meet diverse needs, offering smooth and comfortable shifting performance.
- F8/R8 Transmission: Features synchronized four speeds in the main shift and a high/low range, providing 8 Forward and 8 Reverse speeds.
- F12/R12 Transmission: Available as a factory option on M7060HD/HDC models for heavy-duty work. It offers six speeds in the main shift and a high/low range, totaling 12 Forward and 12 Reverse speeds.
Transmission Features:
- Over Drive (F12/R12 models only): Limits maximum engine revolutions at 1960 RPM in H6 gear for better fuel economy.
- Hydraulic Shuttle: Allows smooth and effortless shifting between forward and reverse using a column-mounted lever, boosting productivity, especially with loaders, by eliminating the need to depress the clutch for direction changes.
- Transmission Parking Lock (F12/R12 models only): A durable and reliable lock operated by the main shift lever for secure parking on any terrain.
- Easy to shift 4WD Engagement: Switchable between 2WD and 4WD via a simple switch (Electro-Hydraulic on F12/R12) or lever (Mechanical on F8/R8). Engagement can be done on-the-go without stopping the tractor. A 4WD indicator confirms engagement.
- Hydraulic Wet Disc Brakes (F12/R12 models only): Standard on these models, these brakes require less pedal effort and maintain high performance efficiency even after repeated heavy-duty use.
- Multiple Wet Disc Clutch: Provides durability and a long operating life.
- Limited Slip Differential: Standard on M7060 4WD models, it helps maintain stable travel speed when a drive wheel slips, ensuring reliable traction.
Ultra Grand Cab
The M6060/M7060 features a spacious and ergonomically designed cab, enhancing comfort and visibility for the operator.
- Innovative Design: Provides a comfortable and spacious environment year-round.
- Curved Upper Windshield: Increases upward visibility, beneficial when using a front loader.
- Front Wiper: A pantograph-style front wiper offers wider coverage for improved visibility on rainy days.
- Rounded Glass: Enhances overall visibility and provides a more spacious feel. Increased glass coverage on the cab door aids in easier entry and exit.
- Wide Fenders: Protect the operator from mud splashes.
- New Functional Platform: Redesigned for better ergonomics, with most levers and switches located on the right side for easy access and continuous operation.
- Comfortable Seat: Designed to absorb shock and reduce fatigue, featuring standard reclining function and arm rests. Optional air-ride seat suspension is available for enhanced shock absorption.
- Cab Headroom: An arched beam and relocated A/C components increase roof height, providing more headroom and improved visibility, especially when using a loader.
- Easy-Step Tilt Steering Wheel: Allows the steering wheel to be tilted up for easier operator dismounting.
- Heater/Air Conditioner: The unit is located under the seat, with air outlets in the dash tower. Optimized air circulation through rounded glass keeps the operator comfortable in all seasons. Air is circulated throughout the windshield to prevent icing, frosting, and fogging.
Standard Equipment Includes: Front halogen work lights, front windshield wiper and washer, rear halogen work lights, interior dome light, external mirrors, sun visor, cup holder, cigarette lighter, 7-pin trailer coupler, and 3-pin 12V coupler.
Optional Equipment Includes: Rear wiper and washer, rear defogger, 100 amp alternator, air ride seat suspension, CD/radio with weather band, and cassette radio with weather band.
Hydraulics and PTO
The M-Series hydraulics are state-of-the-art, featuring external hydraulic cylinders for improved lifting power and easier maintenance. The M6060/M7060 offers a large pump capacity of 16.2 gpm for F12/R12 models, ensuring short front loader cycle times and increased productivity. A standard (SCD) hydraulic remote valve is included, with options for up to two more, plus an optional flow control valve.
- Hydraulic Independent PTO: Enables smooth engagement with an Electric PTO Switch for implements like rear cutters. The PTO brake securely holds the PTO shaft when the clutch is disengaged. The PTO clutch can be engaged/disengaged on the go, making operations like mowing and spraying more efficient.
- 3-Point Hitch: Category I / II hitches provide fast and simple attachment of rear-mounted implements, with a lift capacity of 3307 lbs (1500kg) on the M6060 and M7060.
- Telescopic Lower Link Ends: Standard on M6060/M7060 models, these facilitate implement attachment.
- Fuel Saving Economy PTO: F12/R12 models offer standard 540/540E PTO (optional for F8/R8). Engaging the 540E position runs the engine at lower RPM to save fuel and reduce noise while maintaining PTO shaft speed at 540 RPM. Engine speed is limited to 2132 RPM in this mode.
Front Axle and Drivetrain
The bevel-gear front axle provides enhanced maneuverability, allowing for a tighter turning radius of up to 55 degrees, making work in tight spaces easier. Standard features include Limited Slip Differential on the front and Differential Lock on the rear for increased stability and traction on challenging ground conditions.
M-Series Front Loader
The M-Series Front Loader offers superior lifting power and is integrated into the tractor design with a slanted boom for improved operator visibility. It features two separate boom cylinder fulcrum points (Power and Height positions) allowing users to optimize lifting power or height based on the task. The 4-bar bucket linkage increases rollback and dumping angles for quicker scooping and dumping.
- 2-Lever Quick Coupler: A standard feature for quick and easy attachment of buckets, bale spears, and pallet forks.
- Protected Cylinder Tubes: Hydraulic tubes are neatly tucked inside the loader boom and covered to protect them from wear and tear, while also improving operator visibility.
- Frame Design: Simplified by removing braces and connectors, the frame maintains sturdiness while reducing effort and time for attachment and increasing visibility.
- Joystick Control: Located on the control console for easy access, it allows single-lever control of loader movement and speed. Series Circuit and Regenerative Bucket Dump Circuit enable efficient operation with quick cycle times.
- Single-Lever Hydraulic Quick Coupler: An optional feature allowing all four hoses to be attached at once for quick and easy connection.
- Kubota Shockless Ride (KSR): An option that absorbs loader shock, reducing operator fatigue, particularly useful for tasks involving tight turns or lifting heavy loads.
- 3rd Function Valve: An optional valve that expands loader capabilities for attachments like grapple buckets, activated via buttons on the joystick grip.
- Rubber Caps: Prevent grease drips and enhance the loader's appearance.
- Quick-Mount Attach/Detach: Allows for rapid attachment and detachment of the front loader without tools, using boom stands and mounting pins.
