Indicators
- LED1: Power Indicator: Blue light for 3 seconds when the power switch is turned on.
- LED1/LED2/LED3: Bluetooth Status Indicator: Blue light for pairing mode and switching channels. Caps Lock Indicator: Blue light when Caps Lock is activated.
- LED4: Low Battery Indicator: Red light flashes when the battery is low. Charging Indicator: Red light turns on when charging and turns off when fully charged.
Specify a Keyboard Type on Mac
- On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Keyboard.
- Click Change Keyboard Type, then follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: The language of the device settings of this keyboard should be the same as the language of the original computer keyboard.
Pairing
- Turn on the keyboard.
- Press "Fn + BT1" for one second to switch to the channel. Press "Fn + BT1" for 3-5 seconds, or until LED1 starts flashing blue, to enter pairing mode.
- Ensure your device's Bluetooth settings are enabled (Settings > Bluetooth > On).
- Select "OMOTON Keyboard" from your device's list of available devices to complete pairing.
- The blue indicator will turn off after successful pairing. This product has three independent Bluetooth channels. Press and hold Fn+BT2 or Fn+BT3 to enter pairing mode and repeat the steps above for pairing the keyboard to another device.
How To Switch Bluetooth Channels
(Take BT2 Channel for example)
- With all channels paired, press "FN+BT2" button for one second to switch between paired devices.
- The BT2 LED will light up for 3 seconds and then turn off if the device is already connected to the keyboard.
- If the paired device is not connected to the keyboard, the LED light will stay on and enter pairing mode as described in the pairing section.
- Each "BT" button is connected to an independent pairing channel.
Power Saving Mode
The keyboard will enter sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. To wake it up, press any key and wait for 3 seconds.
Charging
- Use the included USB cable for charging. Connect one end to a USB charger (not included) and the other to the keyboard.
- While charging, the power indicator will turn red. A full charge typically takes approximately 2-3 hours, or until the red light turns off.
Note: The keyboard can be used while charging, but it is not recommended as it may damage the built-in battery over time.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot connect the Bluetooth keyboard to your device, or if the keyboard is not working, please try the following:
- Ensure your device has Bluetooth and that it is enabled.
- Delete the pairing name from your device's Bluetooth settings. Restart the device and try to pair again.
- Cancel any existing Bluetooth connections with other devices and try to pair again.
- Check if your device's Bluetooth software has been updated recently. If not, update the software and try to pair again.
- Make sure the Bluetooth keyboard is within 33ft (10m) of your device.
