Important Safeguards

Always follow basic safety precautions:

Read all instructions before use.
Close adult supervision is necessary when the Portable Blender is used by or near children.
Store your Portable Blender in a secure place, out of the reach of children. This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely supervised.
This Blender is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
To disconnect, press the POWER ON/OFF button to STOP blending. Disconnect before assembling, disassembling, or cleaning.
Do not blend hot liquids to avoid damage or leaks.
Never place any Portable Blender attachments into a microwave oven or freezer.
Take care when handling the base without the blending jar attached. Keep hands away from exposed blades; they are sharp and can cause severe injury.
The blender has a safety interlock system; it will not turn ON unless the blending jar is tightly sealed onto the base.
Keep hands and utensils out of the jar while blending. Avoid contact with moving parts.
Never overfill the jar past the MAX fill line.
Utensils, a scraper, or small spatula may be used ONLY when the Portable Blender is not running.
Never place the base in the dishwasher.
To avoid spills, allow ingredients to settle before unscrewing the lid.
Always operate with the lid tightly sealed.
Never use carbonated drinks; pressure build-up may cause the jar to burst.
Never allow food to remain in the jar for prolonged periods; pressure build-up or fermentation may cause the jar to burst.
Never run the blender with an empty jar, as this can damage it.
Never charge the blender when wet.
Use only high-quality USB charging leads and the supplied USB-C cable.
Never immerse the charging cable in water or other liquids.
Do not allow the USB charging cable to touch hot surfaces.
Do not attempt to defeat any safety interlock mechanisms.
Do not operate if the appliance malfunctions, is dropped, or damaged. Return it to an authorized service facility.
The use of attachments is not recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not incinerate the appliance; batteries can explode in a fire.
Use only with the supplied battery charger or certified equivalents.
Do not use the portable blender in rain or wet conditions.

Getting to Know Your Portable Blender

Before Using the Portable Blender for the First Time

Unpack and check all contents (blending jar, lid, etc.).
Clean the jar and lid by blending with water and a drop of dish soap, then rinse and air dry.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE IN WATER.
Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.
Charge the blender using the supplied USB-C cable and a compatible USB power source. The POWER ON/OFF button will illuminate solid red while charging. A solid white light indicates a full charge. A full charge provides up to 30 blends.
Remove the charging cable and store it safely.

Operating Instructions

Align the line on the back of the motor base with the line on the back of the blending jar. The illuminated POWER ON/OFF button will flash 3 times.
IMPORTANT: Never operate the blender with an empty jar. Always add liquids or food before blending.
WARNING: NEVER BLEND hot liquids exceeding 120°F/49°C.
Add liquid ingredients first, then place remaining ingredients on top.
WARNING: NEVER overfill the jar past the MAX fill line.
Attach the lid to the blending jar and turn clockwise until tightly sealed.
IMPORTANT: The blender will not turn ON unless the blending jar is properly sealed onto the motor base due to the interlock system.
WARNING: Ensure the jar is not overloaded and the lid is tightly sealed before pressing the POWER ON/OFF button to prevent injury or damage.

Blend Mode

Press the POWER ON/OFF button twice to begin blending. The cycle lasts 30 seconds and stops automatically. Repeat as needed.
To stop blending at any time, press the POWER ON/OFF button once.
Check results and add more liquid if necessary.
Press the POWER ON/OFF button twice to resume blending.
Blend until the desired consistency is reached.
WARNING: If the battery temperature becomes too high, the POWER ON/OFF button will turn red and flash, and the blender will turn OFF. Allow the blender to rest before continuing.
This blender is ideal for travel; ensure the lid is tightly sealed for on-the-go use.

Blend Technique

NOTE: For best results, let ice cubes sit out for 5-10 minutes before use. Cut frozen fruit into uniform, small chunks.

For frozen fruits or ice cubes, add liquids (water, juice, etc.) and a handful of frozen fruit or ice cubes.
Attach the lid and turn clockwise until tightly sealed.
For tougher blending, flip the blender upside down, press POWER ON/OFF twice to blend, then flip it right-side-up and blend until smooth.
Add more liquid or fruit/ice, shake the blender to distribute, and blend until desired consistency is achieved.

Pulse Mode

Pulse mode is ideal for chunkier consistencies, such as for guacamole, salsa, hummus, or chopped ice.

Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button for 2 seconds to initiate PULSE mode. The illuminated button will flash.
To pulse, press the POWER ON/OFF button. The blades stop when the button is released. Pulse until the desired consistency is reached.

User Maintenance Instructions

This appliance requires minimal maintenance and has no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing beyond cleaning must be performed by a qualified technician.

Care & Cleaning Instructions

Handle the motor base with care when the blending jar is not attached.
CAUTION: KEEP HANDS AWAY FROM EXPOSED BLADES.
Rinse the jar and lid immediately after use to prevent food from hardening and to facilitate cleaning.
NOTE: The Tritan™ blending jar and lid are dishwasher safe but should NOT be cleaned with a heated dry cycle.
Clean the jar by blending with water and a drop of dish soap for 30 seconds, then rinse and air dry. Repeat without soap.
Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth or sponge and dry thoroughly.
NOTE: The motor base is water-resistant but NOT dishwasher safe.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE IN WATER.

Storing Instructions

Assemble the blender by attaching the lid to the jar.
Store the assembled blender and charging cable in its original box or a clean, dry place.

Troubleshooting

PROBLEM	CAUSE	SOLUTION
The Portable Blender will not turn ON. The white POWER ON/OFF button is off.	The blender jar is not assembled correctly. Battery needs to be charged. The POWER ON/OFF button was pressed once.	Ensure the blending jar is properly tightened onto the base to engage the interlock system. Charge the battery. To begin the BLEND cycle, press the POWER ON/OFF button twice.
The POWER ON/OFF button is flashing red. The Portable Blender will not turn ON.	Battery needs to be charged. The motor is blocked; blades cannot rotate. Battery temperature is too high. Blending jar is overloaded.	Charge the battery. Remove some of the blender jar contents and continue blending. Flip the blender upside down, shake vigorously to redistribute ingredients, and continue to BLEND. Flip the blender upside down and rest it on its lid. Turn the base counter-clockwise, lift it off the jar, remove any blockage, replace the base securely, and flip the blender right-side-up before blending. Allow the blender to rest before continuing. Remove half of the ingredients and continue to BLEND. Add liquid to the blending jar and continue to BLEND.
The blender motor rotates very slowly.	Blending jar is overloaded.	Remove half of the ingredients and continue to BLEND. Add liquid to the blending jar and continue to BLEND.

Limited Two-Year Warranty

SENSIO Inc. warrants this product against mechanical defects for TWO YEARS from the date of purchase, and for 90 days for non-mechanical parts. SENSIO Inc. will repair, replace, or refund defective products at its discretion.

This warranty is valid only for the original retail purchaser and is non-transferable. Keep the original sales receipt as proof of purchase. Retail stores cannot alter warranty terms.

Exclusions: The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage from negligent use, improper voltage/current, inadequate maintenance, use contrary to instructions, disassembly, repair by unqualified personnel, or Acts of God (fire, floods, etc.). SENSIO Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential damages. Implied warranties are limited to the duration of this warranty, subject to applicable law.

How to Obtain Warranty Service: Contact Customer Service at 1-866-832-4843. If the issue cannot be resolved over the phone, you will receive a case number and instructions to return the product. Include your name, address, phone number, case number, and a copy of the original sales receipt. Package the product securely and send it (with shipping and insurance prepaid) to SENSIO Inc.'s address.
