Operation Guide See attached operation manual for details. DOWN key Reduce the power level. Ultrasonic Cutter UP key Increase the power level. Main power switch ON / OFF key Start and stop the handpiece. 1 Power ON: Press [Main power switch] The LED on the control panel lights up. 2 Power level adjustment: Press [DOWN key] or [UP key] Displays the power level. (Can be adjusted during usage) DOWN key 3 Startup: Press [ON / OFF key] or use the foot switch The ON / OFF key and the LED on the handpiece light up when starting up. UP key When using the optional foot switch · Factory default setting: Pressing the foot switch to start and releasing it to stop. · The setting can be changed to pressing the foot switch to start and pressing it again to stop. See attached operation manual to check how to change the setting. If it is activated by a foot switch, it can only be stopped by a foot switch. Loosen the set screw by supplied hexagon wrench. Insert the no damaged blade completely into the horn. 3 Tighten the blade by set screw Tighten the blade in center, in a position where both ends of the blade do not touch the horn. The standard tightening torque is 1.5 N/m. The set screw facing towards you and the tip of the blade is installed to the left. The set screw facing towards you and the tip of the blade is installed to the right. For easy setup tighten the set screw lightly at first, then make adjustments to the blade. Both ends of the blade do not touch the horn and shows gaps. The blade touches the horn. 4 Make sure the blade has been installed correctly Max output power 3.0 W or less The LED on the control panel lights up. If the WATT is smaller than 3.0 when the maximum output power is displayed, the blade has been installed correctly. 3.0 W or less is only a guide line. It may be bigger or smaller depending on the surrounding temperature and environment. Make sure of the installed blade's direction, whether the set screw is tight enough and whether the blade is not damaged.
