SAFETY & WARNINGS

Read these safety instructions carefully before use and retain this user guide for future reference.
CAUTION: To avoid danger of suffocation, keep plastic bags away from babies and young children.
Keep this product out of reach of children.
Do not allow children to play with this product.
Do not use this leash with an uncontrollable or disobedient dog.
Do not use with a dog that exceeds the weight limit (20kg) of this leash.
Never attach more than one dog to the leash.
Never attach more than one retractable leash to your dog.
Do not attach any accessories to the leash housing.
Avoid contact with the lead and do not let it wrap around any part of your body.
If the lead runs across your skin, it may cause cuts or burns. To reduce the risk of injury, wear long sleeves and pants while using the leash.
Do not allow slack to build up in the lead.
Always hold the leash using the handle and avoid touching the lead with your hands. If the lead wraps around your fingers, it can lead to serious personal injury.
If the lead becomes tangled or snagged, gain control of your dog before attempting to untangle it.
Do not use this leash while riding a bike, skateboard, or any other wheeled device.
Always be aware of your surroundings when using this leash.
Be aware of bystanders when using this leash; other people may not take notice of the lead, leading to a possible tripping hazard.
When using around other people or animals, shorten the leash and keep your dog close by your side.
Avoid using this leash around small children.

Batteries

Remove the battery compartment cover on the LED light and insert 3 AAA batteries into the battery compartment. Pay attention to the orientation of the polarity symbols.

OPERATION

Attaching the Leash

Securely attach the hook from the retractable leash to the D-ring on your dog's collar.

Note: Do not attach the leash to your dog's ID tag.

How to Retract the Lead

Never touch the lead with your hands. To retract the lead, follow the procedure below:

Extend your arm then press and hold the brake button.
Walk towards your dog while lowering your arm to your side.
Release the brake button and extend your arm back towards your dog. The lead will retract inside the housing.
Press and hold the brake button.
Repeat as required.

Retraction Actions:

Locking the leash: Press the brake button.
Holding the brake: Engage the brake lock to hold the brake button in place.
Extending the leash: Draw back the brake lock to release the brake and allow the leash to extend.
