General Safety: Please read these instructions carefully before commencing installation and retain them for future reference. The luminaire should be installed by a licensed electrician in accordance with local regulations. Ensure the power supply is switched OFF before installation or maintenance.
- Preparation: Disconnect the main power supply to the installation area.
- Ceiling Cut-out: Create a circular opening in the ceiling with a diameter between 74 mm and 84 mm (Ø74-84 mm).
- Mounting the Luminaire: Insert the luminaire body into the prepared ceiling cut-out. The fixture is designed to be mounted directly against insulation materials.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the LED driver to the mains power supply and the luminaire. The driver is dimmable and operates at 350mA. Use the primary connection for mains (6x0.75-2.5mm²) and the secondary connection for the LED (2x0.75-1.5mm²).
- Safety Distances: Observe minimum safety distances to flammable materials. For instance, maintain at least 0.05 meters (5 cm) from the luminaire's beam direction to any flammable surface.
- Final Check: Verify that all electrical connections are secure and that the luminaire is properly seated and stable in the ceiling.
