Wiring Scheme

Set Up Your Device: How to Insert Micro-SIM Card

  1. Cover Removal: Gently remove FMC920 cover using a plastic pry tool from both sides.
  2. Micro-SIM Card Insert: Insert Micro-SIM card with PIN request disabled. Ensure the Micro-SIM card's cut-off corner points towards the slot.
  3. Removing Protection: Remove the adhesive tape protection.
  4. Placing Battery: Place the battery inside the casing, ensuring adhesive tape sticks to the casing.
  5. Connecting Battery: Connect the internal battery to the FMC920 PCB.
  6. Attaching Cover Back: Attach the device cover back. The device is ready to be connected.

PC Connection (Windows)

  1. Power up the FMC920 with a 10-30 V DC power supply. LEDs should start blinking.
  2. Connect the device to your computer via Micro-USB cable or Bluetooth.
    • Micro-USB: Install USB drivers (see "How to install USB drivers (Windows)").
    • Bluetooth: Turn on Bluetooth on your PC, select "Add Bluetooth or other device > Bluetooth", choose your device named "FMC920_last_7_imei_digits" (without LE), enter the default password "5555", press Connect, and then select Done.
  3. The device is now ready to use on your computer.

How to Install USB Drivers (Windows)

  1. Download COM port drivers from here.
  2. Extract and run TeltonikaCOMDriver.exe.
  3. Click Next in the driver installation window.
  4. Click the Install button.
  5. Setup will install the driver, and a confirmation window will appear. Click Finish to complete the setup.

Configuration

The FMC920 comes with default factory settings. These can be changed using the Teltonika Configurator software, available from here. The Configurator operates on Microsoft Windows OS and requires MS .NET Framework.

After connecting the device, the Configurator's Status window displays information about GNSS, GSM, I/O, and Maintenance. You can load and save configurations, update firmware, read records, and reboot the device. Key sections include GPRS settings and Data Acquisition.

After SMS configuration, the FMC920 synchronizes time and updates records. Time intervals and I/O elements can be changed via Teltonika Configurator or SMS parameters.
