Thank you for purchasing your RCA LED TV. This manual provides comprehensive guidance for setup, operation, and maintenance.

Introduction

This manual is designed to help you enjoy your RCA LED TV to its fullest. Please read it carefully and keep it for future reference.

Installation

  1. Place the TV in a location where direct light does not strike the screen to avoid eyestrain. Soft, indirect lighting is recommended.
  2. Ensure adequate space between the TV and the wall for ventilation.
  3. Avoid excessively warm locations to prevent damage or premature component failure.
  4. The TV operates on AC 100-240V~50/60Hz.
  5. Do not install near heat sources like radiators, air ducts, or direct sunlight. Do not cover ventilation openings.
  6. Wait for the indicator light to go out (approx. 30 seconds after power off) before repowering.

Safety

  • Do not expose the TV to extreme temperatures (below 5°C and above 35°C) or extreme humidity (less than 10% and more than 75%).
  • Do not expose the TV to direct sunlight.
  • Prevent contact with liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the TV.
  • Unplug the power cord and remove the antenna cable during lightning storms.
  • Ensure cables are fully unrolled and do not walk on them.
  • Do not overload outlets or extension cords to prevent fire or electric shock.
  • Clean the TV with a soft, dry cloth, free of volatile substances.
  • Do not attempt to repair the TV yourself. Contact service@hkc-europe.com for assistance.

No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.

A symbol ⚠️ indicates risk of electric shock; do not disassemble. Another symbol ⚠️ indicates important operating and maintenance instructions.

Caution

  • High voltages are used. Do not open the casing.
  • To prevent fire or shock, do not expose the unit to moisture or place liquid-filled objects on it.
  • Do not drop or insert objects into slots or openings. Never spill liquid on the TV.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not place the TV on other heat-emitting products. Ensure ventilation holes are not blocked.
  • Do not squash the power cord.
  • Never stand on, lean on, or push the product or its stand. Pay special attention to children.
  • Do not place the TV on unstable surfaces.
  • When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the AC power cord.
  • The LED panel is glass and breakable. Do not drop or bang the TV. Be careful of broken glass if the panel breaks.

Main Unit Description

Control Panel Button Function

  • VOL+/-: Volume up/down.
  • CH+/-: TV channel up/down.
  • MENU: Select the main menu.
  • SOURCE: Select the input signal.
  • POWER: Switch on/standby mode.

Optional Configuration

Connect USB devices to the USB jack. Note:

  • USB output is limited to 500 mA MAX.
  • For mobile HD, use a separate power supply and do not use the USB jack simultaneously.
  • Supports mobile HD (over 2GB) with up to 4 partitions. Max partition size is 2TB. Supports FAT/FAT32 files (max FAT file size 4GB, max FAT32 file size 2TB).

Remote Control

The remote control has the following functions:

  • 1. Indicator light: Flashes red to indicate operation.
  • 2. POWER: Switch TV between on and standby mode.
  • 3. ASPECT: Watch in various formats (Auto/4:3/16:9/Zoom/Subtitles/Smart-zoom).
  • 4. MUTE: Mute/restore TV sound.
  • 5. 0-9 numbers: Select programs or numbered items in menus.
  • 6. LIST: Display channel list (ATV/DTV).
  • 7. RETURN: Return to previous channel (ATV/DTV) or menu (DVD).
  • 8. REPEAT: Select repeat modes (DVD).
  • 9. SUBTITLE: Display subtitles (DTV/DVD).
  • 10. VOL+/-: Adjust volume.
  • 11. CH+/-: Select channel.
  • 12. AUDIO: Select Audio Description (DTV) or Audio Mode (DVD), or Stereo/Dual sound (ATV).
  • 13. INFO: Display current channel information (time, name). Display disc information (DVD).
  • 14. GUIDE: Display EPG (DTV).
  • 15. No function.
  • 16. MENU: Display OSD menu.
  • 17. INPUT: Select input sources (DTV/ATV/AV/SCART/YPbPr/HDMI1/HDMI2/HDMI3/PC/USB).
  • 18. Navigation (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigate OSD menus and adjust settings.
  • 19. OK: Confirm selection in OSD menus.
  • 20. BACK: Return to previous menu in OSD menus.
  • 21. EXIT: Exit OSD menu or DVD setup menu.
  • 22. PROG (RED), STEP (GREEN), GO TO (YELLOW), A-B (BLUE): Menu options and DVD playback functions.
  • 23. LIST: Select teletext page number. Stop playback/recording (USB/DTV/DVD).
  • 24. REPEAT: Freeze multi-page teletext. Start timeshift (DTV). Start playback/pause (DTV/USB/DVD).
  • 25. INFO: Show hidden teletext information. Reverse playback rapidly (USB/DVD).
  • 26. GUIDE: Enlarge picture in teletext. Advance playback rapidly (USB/DVD).
  • 27. FAV: Display favorite channel list (ATV/DTV). Display DVD menu (DVD).
  • 28. TV.RD: Switch input source to TV/Digital radio. Select different angles (DVD).
  • 29. MIX: TV and TXT pictures mixed. Skip to previous chapter/track/photo (USB/DVD).
  • 30. S.PAGE: Open subpage in teletext. Skip to next chapter/track/photo (USB/DVD).
  • 31. TITLE: Display DVD title content. Play video slowly (DVD).
  • 32. SLOW: Turn teletext function on/off. Zoom in on displayed frame (DVD).
  • 33. ZOOM: Eject disc (DVD).
  • 34. CANCEL: Cancel.

OSD (On Screen Display) Basic Adjustment

Connect

Connect an RF cable from the TV's "RF-In" port to your TV aerial socket.

Press the OK button to select 'Start the setup'.

Select language

Press the / buttons to select the language. Press OK to confirm.

Time zone

Press to go to 'Time zone'. Press / to select the preferred time zone. Press OK to confirm.

Wired/Wireless network

Press to go to 'Network'. If not connected via wire, the TV defaults to wireless. Press OK to confirm wireless network setup.

TV viewing guide

Press to go to 'TV viewing guide'. Press / to select how you watch TV or the source. Press OK to confirm.

Source

Press MENU (15), then / to select 'SOURCE'. Press / to select the preferred source.

Picture

Press MENU (15), then / to select 'PICTURE'. Press OK to confirm. Use / to adjust picture mode, contrast, brightness, color, backlight, noise reduction, color temperature, etc. Press MENU (15) to return.

Sound

Press MENU (15), then / to select 'SOUND'. Press OK to confirm. Use / to adjust sound mode, bass, treble, balance, AVC, SPDIF, surround, and audio only settings. Press MENU (15) to return.

PC adjust

Press MENU (15), then / to select 'PC ADJUST'. Press OK to confirm. Use / to select adjustment (auto adjust, horizontal position, vertical position, clock phase, sampling clock). Press OK to confirm. Press MENU (15) to return. Available only when inputting PC signal.

Channel

Press MENU (15), then / to select 'CHANNEL'. Press OK to confirm. Use / to select preferred adjustment. Select antenna type. Use Auto Scan or Manual Scan for TV programs. Press MENU (15) to return. Note: Searching for platforms can take time.

System lock

Press MENU (15), then / to select 'SYSTEM LOCK'. Press OK to confirm. Default password is 0000. Administrator password is 8899. Use / to select adjustments (Change PassWord, System Lock, Keypad Lock, Hotel Mode). Press OK to confirm. You can change passwords and enable/disable system lock, key lock, and hotel mode. Press MENU (15) to return.

Common

Press MENU (15), then / to select 'COMMON'. Press OK to confirm. Use / to select adjustments and / to adjust (OSD Timer, Sleep Timer, Autostandby Timer, Blue Screen, HDMI CEC, Menu Reset). Press MENU (15) to return.

Smart TV

Smart TV offers the latest in Android technology. Press the HOME button to enter the Smart TV channel. If the remote is not fully functional in Smart TV mode, use a wireless mouse.

Apps/Like Apps

Press / to select Application/Like Apps and Add App.

Browser

Browse the web using the browser. Use navigation keys to navigate. Press EXIT to return to the previous page.

Settings

Select the settings icon to configure various options.

Network settings

Select 'Network Setting'. Press / to select wired or wireless. Press OK to confirm.

Time settings

Select 'Time Setting'. Press / to select 'Auto Attach' to get the current time automatically. Press / to select 'Time zone' to set the local time zone. You can also enable/disable daylight saving and 24-hour format.

Language Setting

Adjust 'Language Setting' for the display language, input method, and permission management.

System Recovery

Select 'System Recovery' to reset the TV to its original state. 'Account Manage' displays TV information.

Product Information

Displays internal storage, Android version, production model, firmware version, and number of processor cores.

USB Features

Press the HOME button and navigate to the 'Multi Media' menu.

Video, Music, Photo, Folder

Select the desired option (Video, Music, Photo, Folder). Press / to select the drive or file. Press OK to confirm. Press EXIT to return to the previous menu.

Troubleshooting

Problem Solution
TV will not turn on
  • Ensure the power cord is plugged in.
  • Check remote control batteries; replace if drained.
No picture, no sound
  • Check the cable between the TV and antenna/external AV device.
  • Press the power button on the remote.
  • Press the SOURCE button, then the button repeatedly to select the TV source.
Poor picture, sound OK
  • Check the cable between the TV and antenna/external AV device.
  • Try another channel; the station may have broadcast issues.
  • Adjust brightness/contrast in the Video menu.
  • Ensure the unit is set to PAL.
Audio noise
  • Check cable connections.
  • Move any infrared equipment away from the TV.
No audio
  • Ensure the volume is not muted or set to minimum.
Photos, videos and music from a USB device are not displayed
  • Verify the USB storage device supports mass storage and is compatible with the TV.
  • Check if the audio and image file formats are supported by the TV.
USB files are played jerkily
  • The speed of the USB storage device can affect data transfer, potentially causing choppy playback.

The TFT LED panel uses sophisticated technology. Minor bright or dark pixels may be present but do not impact performance.

Useful Information and Licences

Guarantee

RCA offers a 2-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase. This is a pick-up and return guarantee. RCA will inspect and resolve the issue, returning the product within 7 working days. A replacement will be provided if the product cannot be repaired.

Warranty conditions

  1. Warranty requires the purchase invoice.
  2. Applies to all RCA-europe products.
  3. Covers material and manufacturing defects only.
  4. Excludes issues from improper use, incorrect installation, external factors, and normal wear and tear.
  5. Warranty is void if the product is tampered with or the serial number is altered/removed.
  6. RCA reserves the right to repair or replace the product. Warranty period is not extended by repair or replacement.
