Safety and General Guidelines

The tow bar is intended for towing trailers and carrying loads; any other use is prohibited.
Parking Sensor Interference: Vehicles equipped with parking assistance systems may experience malfunctions if tow bar components are within the sensor's detection range. Adjust the sensing range or disable the parking assistance system if necessary. This is less likely with removable or pivoting ball hitches when the ball is not in the operating position.
The tow bar is a safety component and must only be installed by qualified technicians. Improper installation can lead to serious accidents!

Installation Steps
Step 01: Access Mounting Points

Step 09: Install M14 Bolts
Install and loosely tighten the M14x40 bolts (2x) with washers and nuts. [?]
Step 10: Torque M14 Bolts

Step 11 & 12: Bumper Cut-out Dimensions (Facelift Models)
For Volvo S/V60 Facelift (2013-) models, specific bumper cut-out dimensions are required:
- Cut-out depth: 40mm (as per Step 11 diagram) or 60mm (as per Step 12 diagram).
- Positioning: R30 radius, C/C 125mm, 30mm offset from center.
Step 13: Attach Ball Hitch Assembly
Attach the detachable ball hitch assembly to the tow bar frame. Torque the M12 lock nuts to 83 Nm. [? ➡️ 83 Nm]
