Battery Installation
VERY IMPORTANT: When changing a battery, NEVER lay the lamp face down on the lens. Instead, rotate the light over 180 degrees on its stand so it faces upside down, and change the battery from that angle.
*WARNING* PLACING LAMP FACE DOWN WHEN THE LENS IS HOT WILL CAUSE DAMAGE AND CAN CAUSE FIRE!
Always ensure you use the correct adaptor for the brand of power tool battery you are using. Never force the wrong adaptor onto another brand of battery, as this will cause damage and void warranties.
The battery compartment cover provides IP65 dust and waterproofing. However, with some larger 6Ah batteries, the cover may not fit correctly, potentially reducing the waterproofing level.
Power Lead
The included 24V 2.7A power lead can power the MTB-5300 as a mains-powered lamp even without a battery installed. In this configuration, the 25% green battery level light will illuminate as a 'default' indicator, which can be ignored.
This power lead also supplies power to the powerbank port, enabling charging of other devices while the lamp is in use, even without a battery installed.
The power lead can also function as a charger. HOWEVER, this charging capability is exclusively for the Unilite 14.8V 5.2Ah battery. The power lead will not charge any other brand of battery. Other battery brands must be charged using their respective chargers.

General Battery Advice
- New rechargeable batteries achieve full performance after a few complete charging and discharging cycles.
- To maintain rechargeable batteries in optimal condition, recharge them every 3-6 months, especially if stored for extended periods without use.
- Always fully charge batteries before storage.
- Always protect lithium batteries from heat, intense sunlight, fire, water, and moisture, as these conditions pose a danger of explosion.
- If a battery is damaged, fluids may leak out. AVOID contact, as this can lead to skin irritation and/or burns. If skin contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, seek medical advice. Seek immediate medical assistance if lithium battery fluid comes into contact with the eyes.
