Set-up Requirements: [temperature icon] 0-35 °C, [humidity icon] 30-70%
Guarantee: The manufacturer guarantees products for 24 months from delivery. Annual inspections by specialized staff are compulsory to maintain warranty claims.
Cabinet Details: Refer to appendices for technical drawings and data.
2. Transport
CAUTION: Transport cabinets upright on a pallet truck, secured against slipping. Remove transport locks only at the installation site. Improper transport can cause concealed damage.
Dismantling Transport Packaging: Follow illustrated steps [diagram: dismantling packaging].
In-plant Transport: Possible without transport locks.
Tilting: May only be done without jolts, potentially with an optional tilting bracket.
3. Erection, Commissioning & Function
Alignment: Ensure cabinets are correctly aligned, with door elements not scraping seals. Automatic closing mechanisms must function correctly. [diagram: alignment steps]
CAUTION: Notify of any damage immediately!
Commissioning: Before first use, examine the cabinet for damage, defective seals, correct alignment, and door function. Use only in orderly condition.
Anti-tilt Device: Essential for models with drawers; must be fastened to the wall.
4. Closing Mechanisms
Types of Closing: Includes thermal release, automatic door closing (TSA), permanently self-closing, doors with arrest system, and doors closable by hand.
Automatic Door Closing System (TSA): Doors close automatically. Time interval is adjustable (preset: 60 seconds). Do not force doors closed by hand.
Locking: Ensure doors and drawers are kept closed when not in use. Cabinets do not have an emergency unlocking facility.
5. Interior Fittings (S, Q, K, XL, UB Lines)
Spill Containment Sump: Must hold 10% of total container volume or 110% of the largest container, whichever is greater. Can be used as a storage surface with a perforated metal plate insert.
Drawers/Second Storage Level: Designed to retract automatically in case of fire. Height adjustment by authorized personnel only.
Tray Shelves & Shelves: Height-adjustable fittings.
6. Interior Fittings (G-CLASSIC-30, G-ULTIMATE-90)
Mounting Rails: For fittings for pressurized gases, height-adjustable.
Cylinder Retainer: For securing gas cylinders, adjustable in depth.
Rolling Ramp: Latches automatically when folded.
Pipe/Cable Leadthrough: Prepared on top section, observe diameter limits (10mm pipes, 20mm cables).
Ermeto Screw Connection: Can be mounted via R3/8" internal threads.
Optional Equipment: Side cylinder retainers available.
7. Storage
Store aggressive chemicals and corrosive liquids in appropriate cabinets. Observe maximum gas cylinder volume limits (210 L + 10 L).
8. Earthing
An earth connection may be necessary based on a risk analysis. Compulsory for decanting operations to a potential equalization system.
9. Ventilation
General Facts: Check connection to exhaust systems. Ventilation wheel indicates correct air circulation.
S, Q, K, XL, UB Lines: Can be connected to technical exhaust systems. Can operate without ventilation, but requires marking if so. Connectors may need mounting.
G-CLASSIC-30, G-ULTIMATE-90: Minimum air recirculation rates apply for technical exhaust systems (10x for combustible/oxidising gases, 120x for toxic gases).
10. Fire Disposal
Opening After Fire: Use spark-free tools. Remove ignition sources. Open with extreme caution.
Disposal: Cabinets can be disposed of after dismantling; materials are not classified as special waste.
