ageLOC Galvanic Spa

Reveal a youthful appearance with visible skin and hair benefits in 5 minutes or less. The ageLOC Galvanic Spa is a personal care device that uses galvanic current to help visibly improve the appearance of your skin and hair. This versatile device, with its interchangeable attachments and unique accompanying products, helps visibly improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles; imparts radiance to the skin and revitalizes the complexion; improves the appearance of skin with a texture similar to orange peel and supports a shiny and healthy appearance of the hair.

Before You Begin

Please read the instructions before using the ageLOC Galvanic Spa device:

⚠ Attention: The ageLOC Galvanic Spa device is intended for use on healthy skin. Do not use if you have open wounds or inflammation, are prone to rosacea acne, are allergic to metal, or have difficult or extremely sensitive skin. Consult your doctor before using the ageLOC Galvanic Spa device if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker or similar device, suffer from epilepsy, wear metal braces, have a metal implant, or if you have a medical condition.

New users of the Galvanic Spa instrument and those with sensitive or allergy-prone skin should always test the instrument on a small area of skin before using the product as directed. Always check the Galvanic Spa device and conductive heads before use. Ensure there are no hard or damaged surfaces, sharp edges, or irregular surfaces. If you notice any abnormalities, do not use the instrument and contact your local Nu Skin® office. Do not apply directly to lips, eyes, or eyelids. The device and products are for external use only. If you experience inflammation, prolonged redness, or abnormal irritation, discontinue use immediately and consult a doctor if necessary. The device is intended for adult use only. Persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, and children over 16 years of age may use the device if they are supervised or have received training on the use of the apparatus in a safe manner and understand the risks involved. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be carried out by children. Keep out of reach of children.

⚠ Remove all protective plastic films before starting. Store in a dry place at room temperature, at a minimum of 4°C, to avoid the possibility of swelling.

☠ To reduce the risk of shock, burns, fire, or personal injury, do not immerse the device in water. Do not place or store the device where it can fall or be pulled into a bathtub, shower, sink, or toilet. Never use the device if it has been damaged.

☠ When removing a conductor, do not squeeze or press the middle of the conductor, as this could damage the normal operation of the mechanism. It is advisable to grip the sides instead. To ensure correct waste treatment for the ageLOC Galvanic Spa device and batteries, please dispose of them in accordance with applicable local legislation or electrical equipment/battery disposal requirements. They should not be disposed of as household waste.

Important Maintenance and Warranty Information

Cleaning the device and conductors:

After completing the galvanic application, remove the conductor from the device and use a damp towel to clean off any excess product remaining. (Figure 1). Dry the device thoroughly and store it in a dry place without an attached conductor.

Battery Replacement Instructions:

When the batteries are depleted, a yellow battery icon will appear in the middle of the display, and the device will emit four beeps (Figure 2). When this happens, replace the two AAA batteries with new ones.

To replace the batteries, press down on the battery compartment cover, on each side, and pull down (Figure 3). The battery compartment cover will separate from the device (Figure 4).

Then, gently pull the ribbon and remove the old batteries. Insert two new AAA batteries into the compartment and over the ribbon. If you do not insert the ribbon under the batteries, water may enter the device, causing damage (Figure 5). Finally, position the battery cover back into place (Figure 6).

Use only 2 AAA LR03 1.5 V batteries. Do not mix new and used batteries, or batteries of different types, such as alkaline and non-alkaline, or rechargeable and non-rechargeable.

Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the appliance before being charged. Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged.

Do not short-circuit the batteries. When the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals of a battery come into contact with each other, the battery can short-circuit.

Depleted batteries must be removed from the appliance and safely recycled in accordance with local legislation. Remove batteries from the appliance before prolonged storage.

Two-Year Limited Warranty:

Nu Skin warrants that the ageLOC Galvanic Spa will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two years from the date of delivery to you. This warranty does not cover product failures due to misuse or accidents. If the product malfunctions within the two-year warranty period, please contact your local Nu Skin Support by phone to arrange for repair or replacement of the device. You may be asked to provide a sales receipt including the date of delivery. Nu Skin reserves the right to inspect the device. This warranty does not affect your specific legal rights by country of purchase, such as rights remaining protected. This warranty is valid in South Africa, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, and Hungary.

Disposal of Old Electrical and Electronic Equipment (Valid in the European Union and other European countries with separate collection systems).

This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product should not be treated as household waste. Instead, it will be handed over to the appropriate collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring that this product is disposed of correctly, you help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health, which could be caused by the improper disposal of this product. Recycling of materials will help conserve natural resources. For detailed information about the recycling of this product, please contact your local household waste collection service.

CE Marking

The CE marking signifies that the manufacturer has verified that this product complies with EU requirements for safety, health, and the environment. It is an indicator that the product complies with EU legislation and allows for the free movement of products within the European market.

EAC Marking

The EAC (Eurasian Conformity Mark) is a mark that must be applied to the product to demonstrate its compliance with the customs standards of the Union.

ageLOC Galvanic Spa Display

• (1) Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 indicate the application number and corresponding product (see below).
• (2) The five dots indicate the corresponding application duration.
• (3) If the batteries are nearly depleted, each time the device is turned on, a yellow battery symbol will appear at the bottom of the display, and the device will beep. When the batteries are completely depleted, a yellow battery symbol will appear at the bottom of the display, and the device will turn off.

How to Use ageLOC Galvanic Spa

The ageLOC Galvanic Spa includes different conductors for face, scalp, and body, but they are all used in similar ways. Specific instructions for individual applications can be found on pages 282-289. Please read the instructions before starting to use the device.

For each use, you must attach the appropriate conductor to the device. The skin touching both chrome contact points must be moist to successfully conduct galvanic currents.

Attaching a Conductor:

Hold the device with the display facing you. Align the conductor positioning indicator with the device and then press the conductor down from the sides until it clicks into place (Figure 1). If the conductor does not connect, ensure it is facing the correct direction and is positioned correctly. Do not force the conductor as it may be damaged. ageLOC Galvanic Spa will not function if one end of the conductor is not securely attached.

Removing a Conductor:

Turn the device so the chrome panel faces you. With your free hand, grasp the conductor by the sides and then press the release button (Figure 2). Gently pull the conductor away from the sides.

Display Lights:

The display will remain illuminated while the device is on, when you select, and during an application. If the display turns off and on, it is either because the device has lost contact with the skin or the skin is not moist enough to conduct the current.

Product Usage:

Apply the recommended amount of product to the desired area on your face, scalp, or body.

Selecting Application:

Press the selection button until the desired number is illuminated (Figure 3).

Activating Galvanic Current:

Your fingers must touch the chrome panel on the back of the device while the conductor touches the skin.

We recommend wetting your hands thoroughly with water or NaPCA Moisture Mist to improve conductivity.* If your fingers slip off the chrome panel during use, do not worry, just adjust your grip on the device and continue the spa treatment.

*Note! The skin touching both chrome contact points must be moist to successfully conduct galvanic currents.

During Application:

The device will beep every 10 seconds indicating it is on and functioning. When there are 30 seconds left in an application, the device will beep every 5 seconds until the application is complete.

Interrupting Application:

You must keep the conductor in contact with the target area and keep all contact points moist (Figure 4). If you break contact with the chrome panel or the application head, the display will turn off and on. The device will turn off a few minutes after use ceases.

Completing Application:

At the end of the treatment, the device will emit one long beep followed by two shorter ones and will automatically turn off. If you wish to perform another application, press the selection button to access the next application number. To turn off the device, simply press the selection button until the display disappears.

Discontinue use if you experience inflammation, redness, or adverse skin reactions.

ageLOC Galvanic Spa Facial Gels with ageLOC

Use this treatment three times a week for visible refreshing and revitalizing results.

PRE-TREAT GEL

GEL PRE-TREATMENT APPLICATION PHASE

Step 1: Apply ageLOC pre-treatment gel evenly over your entire face and neck, avoiding the eyes, eyelids, and lips.

TREATMENT GEL PHASE

Step 1: Apply an entire vial of ageLOC Treatment Gel to your face and neck.

STEP 2: The ageLOC Facial Conductor should be attached, so press the selection button once to turn on the device and continue pressing until you select application number 2 (Figure 5). This application will last 3 minutes.

STEP 3: Again, hold the device with a moist hand while touching the chrome panel on the back and begin to gently touch the skin with the conductor head (Figure 6). Be sure to avoid sensitive areas such as the eyes, eyelids, and lips.

The device will beep once, twice, or three times to indicate that it has automatically adjusted to your skin. After this, your galvanic application has begun, and the device will beep every 10 seconds to indicate that the unit is on and functioning, and every 5 seconds when the application is nearly complete.

STEP 4: At the end of the galvanic application, the device will emit one long beep followed by two shorter ones and will automatically turn off. Use a damp towel to remove any gel residue from your skin and the device (Figure 7).

Tru Face Line Corrector

Use this treatment morning and evening for a more delicate appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth, eyes, and forehead.

Preparation:

Use a Nu Skin cleanser and toner of your choice. Attach the focus area conductor to the device (Figure 1).

STEP 1: Apply Tru Face Line Corrector to the lines and wrinkles you wish to treat. Apply to the desired areas one by one. Be sure to leave a thin layer of the product on the skin's surface.

STEP 2: Press the selection button until number 3 appears on the display (Figure 2). This application will last 5 minutes.

Tip: When multiple areas are treated, you can use the 5 minutes for more than one area. Small application areas do not require more than a minute or two each.

STEP 3: Thoroughly moisten your hands with NaPCA Moisture Mist or water. Hold the device with a moist hand while touching the chrome panel on the back and begin to gently touch the skin with the conductor head (Figure 3). Pay attention to avoiding sensitive areas such as the eyes, eyelids, and lips.

The device will beep once, twice, or three times to indicate that it has automatically adjusted to your skin. After this, your galvanic application has begun, and the device will beep every 10 seconds to indicate that the unit is on and functioning, and every 5 seconds when the application is nearly complete.

STEP 4: At the end of the galvanic application, the device will emit one long beep followed by two shorter ones and will automatically turn off. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 for each area. When you are finished with all applications, massage any remaining product into the skin and clean any remaining residue from the device with a damp towel (Figure 4).

ageLOC Body Shaping Gel

Use this application three times a week to contour the skin, leaving it firmer and smoother on the arms, thighs, abdomen, and buttocks.

Preparation:

Use on clean skin. Apply a generous amount of ageLOC Body Shaping Gel to the desired area.

STEP 1: Apply a generous amount of ageLOC Body Shaping Gel to the desired area.

STEP 2: Press the selection button until number 4 appears on the display (Figure 2). This application will last 5 minutes per area.

Tip: It is recommended that the application time be 5 minutes for one area, but you may not need all 5 minutes.

STEP 3: Thoroughly moisten your hands with NaPCA Moisture Mist or water. Hold the device with a moist hand while touching the chrome panel on the back and begin to gently touch the skin with the conductor head (Figure 3).

The device will beep once, twice, or three times to indicate that it has automatically adjusted to your skin. After this, your galvanic application has begun, and the device will beep every 10 seconds to indicate that the unit is on and functioning, and every 5 seconds when the application is nearly complete.

STEP 4: At the end of the galvanic application, the device will emit one long beep followed by two shorter ones and will automatically turn off. Repeat steps 1, 2, and 3 for each area. When all applications are completed, remove any product residue from the skin and device with a damp towel (Figure 4).

Apply ageLOC Dermatic Effects® twice daily to keep skin visibly contoured and smoother. On days you use ageLOC Body Shaping Gel, apply ageLOC Dermatic Effects after the galvanic application.

ageLOC Nutriol Intensive Scalp & Hair Serum

Use this easy ritual morning and evening to help revitalize the scalp day after day, for divine hair.

Preparation:

Use on dry hair. Attach the scalp conductor to the device (Figure 1).

STEP 1: Spray ageLOC Nutriol Intensive Scalp & Hair Serum directly onto the scalp and roots by parting the hair (Figure 2).

Tip: Spraying water on dry hair before applying ageLOC Nutriol Intensive Scalp & Hair Serum may result in easier application to the hair.

STEP 2: Use your fingers and gently massage the serum into the scalp and roots (Figure 3). Comb any stray hairs (Figure 4).

Press the selection button until number 5 appears on the display (Figure 5). This application will last 2 minutes.

STEP 3: Thoroughly moisten your hands with NaPCA Moisture Mist or water. Hold the device with a moist hand while touching the chrome panel on the back of the device. Touch the scalp directly with the conductor and start from the hairline in the back, maintaining constant contact with the scalp. (Figure 6).

The device will beep once, twice, or three times to indicate that it has automatically adjusted to your skin. After this, your galvanic application has begun, and the device will beep every 10 seconds to indicate that the unit is on and functioning, and every 5 seconds when the application is nearly complete.

Note: During the galvanic application, keep the Scalp Conductor in constant contact with the scalp.

STEP 4: At the end of the galvanic application, the device will emit one long beep followed by two shorter ones and will automatically turn off. Do not rinse your hair. Style as usual and remove any product residue from the device with a damp towel (Figure 7).
