Five Translation Modes

Connect the translation headset to the mobile phone via Bluetooth, and choose from the following 5 translation modes according to different application scenarios:

  • Touch Control Mode: Two people wear one earphone each. Click or double-click the earphone to translate in real-time. Suitable for acquaintances who are willing to wear your earphone.
  • Speaker Mode: One person wears earphones, and the other holds the mobile phone. Suitable for strangers who are not convenient to wear your earphones.
  • Free Talk Mode: Both people wear an earphone. Real-time translation, release their hands, and communicate freely.
  • Photo Translation: Translate text as you shoot, supporting both real-time photo translation and importing photos for translation.
  • Offline Mode (Paid to Use): Can translate without internet. Supports 8 languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Russian, German, French, Spanish real-time offline language translation.

Precautions

The translation accuracy mainly depends on the recognition accuracy. Each sentence's pronunciation should be correct, clear, with appropriate pauses.

If earphones cannot accurately understand the translation, try using a different expression.

When there is no internet or the network is poor, you can use offline mode (offline translation with limited languages, with slightly lower accuracy than online translation mode).

If earphones need to be given to someone else to use while bound, please be sure to "Unbind" first from the APP, in order not to affect other people's normal use.

Unbind Steps:

  1. Enter the APP, click "Translation Earphones".
  2. Click the upper right corner "Menu" button.
  3. Click "Unbind" to unbind the device. The next user can then download the APP and use the translator earphones again.

Prompt indicating 'Click to enter the unbinding page'.

Trouble Shooting

If there is no sound on one side of the earphone or the earphone is disconnected, etc., the earphone may be in automatic pairing state. Manual pairing is not required, and the device will automatically connect.

Unconnected/Reconnected Wireless Device:

  1. Enter your device's wireless settings and delete or ignore "SX-219". (See Picture A).
  2. Turn off the Wireless function (See Picture B), then put the earphones into the charging case and close the lid. Wait for one minute. Take out the earphones (keep the distance between the two earphones within 20CM) and wait for 30 seconds.
  3. Reopen the mobile phone wireless and search and connect to "SX-219".
