Pretend to take pictures while encouraging fine motor skills and pretend play. The five double-sided photo cards teach numbers, colours, shapes and animals. NOTE Please keep this parent's guide as it contains important information. NOTE Please cut and discard the cords before playing with the unit. The cords are not part of the product and should be discarded for your child's safety. Unlock the Packaging Locks Rotate the packaging locks 90 degrees anticlockwise. Pull out the packaging locks. 3 NBOVBM3&7JOEE GETTING STARTED BATTERY REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION 1. Make sure the unit is turned Off. 2. Locate the battery cover on the bottom of the unit and use a screwdriver to loosen the screw and then open the battery cover. 3. Remove old batteries by pulling up on one end of each battery. 4. Install 2 new AAA (AM-4/LR03) batteries following the diagram inside the battery box. 5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure. NBOVBM3&7JOEE 4 BATTERY NOTICE · Use new alkaline batteries or fully charged NI-MH (Nickel Metal-hydride) rechargeable batteries for best performance. · Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended. · Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable, or new and used batteries. · Do not use damaged batteries. · Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and - ). · Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. · Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. · Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. · Do not dispose of batteries in fire. · Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. · Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable). · Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. WARNING: Adult assembly required for battery installation. Keep batteries out of reach of children. Disposal of batteries and product The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain substances that can be damaging to the environment and human health. The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked, indicate that the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out in Battery Directive (2006/66/EC). The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the market after 13th August, 2005. Help protect the environment by disposing of your product or batteries responsibly. Off/Low/High Volume Selector To turn the unit On, slide the Off/Low/ High Volume Selector to the Low or High position. To turn the unit Off, slide the Off/Low/High Volume Selector to the Off position. 2. Five Double-Sided Photo Cards The front sides of the five double-sided Photo Cards feature an animal and its name, colours, shapes, and numbers 1-5. The back sides offer grow-with-me content with full photo scenes showing where the animals live, plus shapes to look for and more objects to count. 3. Blue Shutter Button Press the blue Shutter Button to hear phrases about taking photos, the Selfie Song or the camera asking for a specific photo. Insert a Photo Card, then press the blue Shutter Button to pretend to take photos. See the Photo Card shown in the back window and press the blue Shutter Button to learn about animals and where they live, shapes, colours, numbers and more. 6 NBOVBM3&7JOEE 4. Red Photo Print Button Press the red Photo Print Button to hear the Camera Song, a phrase or the camera asking for a specific photo. Insert a Photo Card, then press the red Photo Print Button to pretend to print the photo, which automatically pops up. 5. Day/Night Dial Turn to hear zoom lens sounds, phrases about day and night and other opposites. 6. Colour Wheel Lens & Viewfinder Turn the Colour Wheel Lens to change the colours from clear, yellow, blue or green as you look through the Viewfinder. 7. Mirror Play peek-a-boo or see yourself in the Mirror on the back of the camera. 8. Card Storage Wrist Strap Thread the Wrist Strap through the holes on each of the five double-sided Photo Cards to keep all the cards stored together with the camera. NBOVBM3&7JOEE 7 9. Automatic Shut-Off To preserve battery life, the Fun-2-3 Instant CameraTM will automatically shut off after approximately 65 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button, inserting a Photo Card into the camera or turning the Day/Night Dial. NOTE Do not place any object into the Photo Card Slot other than the five double-sided Photo Cards provided with the Fun-2-3 Instant CameraTM. NOTE If the unit powers down or if the light fades out during play, please install a new set of batteries. ACTIVITIES 1. Pretend to Take Photos Pretend to take photos by placing one of the five double-sided Photo Cards into the camera and pressing the blue Shutter Button. Pretend to print the photo from the camera by pressing the red Photo Print Button. Encourage children to use their imagination by looking into the viewfinder and pressing the blue Shutter Button to pretend to take photos. 2. Opposites Play Turn the Day/Night Dial to learn about opposites: day and night, light and dark, sun and moon. 8 NBOVBM3&7JOEE SONG LYRICS Camera Song Look around, Let's explore. Colours and shapes, Animals and more. Come and take pictures with me! Animal Song Watching all the animals, Let's take their picture. Look where they live and play. See them in the night and day! Selfie Song Turn the camera So we're face to face. Hold out your arm, Keep it in place. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. (photo click) It's a selfie! NBOVBM3&7JOEE 9 CARE & MAINTENANCE 1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth. 2. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources. 3. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be in use for an extended period of time. 4. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the unit to moisture or water. TROUBLESHOOTING If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions, please follow these steps: 1. Turn the unit Off. 2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries. 3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries. 4. Turn the unit On. The unit should now be ready to use again. 5. If the unit still does not work, install a new set of batteries.
