Setting Up the Remote Control

• Use a [Phillips screwdriver] to open the battery cover.
• Install 2x new AA batteries, taking care to match the correct [plus/minus polarity].
• Close the cover and reinstall the screw.

Setting Up Spider RC

• Turn off the power switch.
• Use a [Phillips screwdriver] to loosen the screw securing the battery compartment.
• Push down on the battery door latch to open the battery compartment.
• Connect the battery wire to the Spider RC's connector as shown on the diagram.
• Close the battery compartment, reinstall the screw, and switch the power switch to On.

Charging Spider RC's Battery

• Remove the battery from Spider RC as shown in the setting up instructions.
• Connect the battery to the [USB charging cord] connector.
• Plug the USB cord into a [5V1A USB charger].
• The charger light will turn on to indicate charging. When the charger light goes out, charging is complete, and you can reinstall the battery in the vehicle.

Operating Spider RC

For best results, the Spider RC needs to be within a 15-foot range of the controller.

Controller Functions

• Lights On / Off: Your Spider RC comes with LED effect lights. To turn the lights on and off, press the light on/off button.
• Spider Mode: To activate "Spider Mode", press the "Spider Mode" button. The Spider RC will move diagonally. Press the button again, and the spider will move a different diagonal direction. Repeatedly pressing the "Spider RC" button will cycle through the 4 diagonal movements.
• Demo Mode: The Spider RC can automatically demonstrate its range of movements. To activate press the "Demo Mode" button; press again to deactivate.

Pairing the Spider RC with the Remote Control

To pair the remote control with the Spider RC, first turn on the Spider RC, then press forward and backward on the remote to pair.

Tip: When using more than one Spider RC, to avoid pairing Spider RCs to one remote, you will need to finish pairing the 1st Spider RC with its remote before switching the 2nd Spider RC on.

Spider RC Movement

Cautions & Warnings

• Suitable for ages 8 and up. Adult supervision is always recommended.
• This product contains small parts which are a choking hazard. Keep away from small children.
• Manufacturers and dealers disclaim all responsibility for damage caused by misuse.
• Keep hair and loose clothing away from the vehicle when powered on.
• If the vehicle will be stored and unused for an extended period, please remove the batteries.
• Check the batteries regularly for potential leakage or corrosion that may occur.
• When installing the batteries, carefully follow the polarity marking [plus/minus].
• Do not mix different battery types.
• Remove exhausted or drained batteries.
• Do not exceed charging volts and amps of 5V1A.
• Do not leave the charger connected or charge for more than 1 hour.

• Do not disassemble the unit for any reason.

60 Day Limited Warranty

Odyssey Marketing/Odyssey Toys warrants to the original purchaser (when used in the USA only) that this product shall be free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty applies within 60 days of the original purchase date with normal home use. This warranty does not apply for commercial use of this product. Use outside of the USA is not covered by this warranty. During the warranty period, Odyssey Toys will, at its discretion, repair or replace this product without charge, as long as the product has not been abused or mishandled. Odyssey Toys' determination shall be final. All returns must be accompanied by a Return Authorization Number issued by Odyssey Marketing's Customer Service Department.

Please contact Customer Service BEFORE returning any products or parts thereof. Once you have obtained a Return Authorization Number, you will be provided a return address.

This warranty does not cover installation, adjustments, damage due to accidents, misuse, abuse, fire, acts of God, incorrect line voltage, damage to other equipment caused by improper installation, unauthorized or improper modifications. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
