Introduction

Welcome to the INNIOASIS Y1 MP3 Music Player. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for operating your device.

The INNIOASIS Y1 is a portable media player supporting music, audiobooks, photos, FM radio, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Device Overview

The INNIOASIS Y1 features a display screen, a click wheel for navigation and selection, and several ports for connectivity and charging.

Key Components:

  • Display Screen: Shows menus, playback information, and settings.
  • Click Wheel: Used for navigating menus, adjusting volume, scrolling, and confirming selections. It includes directional controls (Previous, Next), a central OK button, and a Menu/MFB button.
  • 3.5mm Audio Output: For connecting external headphones or speakers.
  • USB-C Port: For charging the device and transferring files to/from a computer.
  • Speaker: Built-in speaker for audio output.
  • Reset Hole: For force shutting down the device in case of freezing or crashing.

The click wheel is the primary interface for navigating and controlling the INNIOASIS Y1.

How to Transfer Music

  1. Connect the INNIOASIS Y1 player to your computer using the included USB-C cable.
  2. Short press the [OK] button on the Y1 player to confirm "Turn on USB storage".
  3. On your computer's desktop, click "This PC". A USB drive representing the Y1 player will appear in the list of devices and drives.
  4. Copy your downloaded music files from your computer and paste them into this newly added USB drive.
  5. After file transfer is complete, click the [OK] button again to turn off USB storage, and then press [Menu/Select] (5/88) to return to the homepage.

Tips: While in USB storage mode, some running applications on the player may stop and become unavailable until USB storage is turned off.

Now Playing

Access the playback interface to view the currently playing song or audiobook. The click wheel controls are used for navigation.

About Shortcut Menu (Music):

Long press the [Menu/Select] (5/88) button in music folders to access the shortcut menu for file management:

  • Multi Select: Select music files one by one.
  • All Select: Select all music files in the current folder with one click.
  • Delete File: Delete selected music files.
  • Add to Playlist: Add selected music to a target playlist.

About Playlist Management:

The Y1 Player allows you to add, delete, and rename playlists. Long press [Menu/Select] (5/88) in the playlist folder to open the shortcut menu.

  • New Playlist: Create a new playlist (default names like Playlist 6, 7...).
  • Delete Playlist: Delete the current playlist.
  • Rename: Rename the current playlist.

About Search:

Search for tracks or albums by title. Click "Search" and enter text to preview results.

Note: Only books stored in the device's "Audiobooks" folder are recognized as audiobooks. Files stored elsewhere are treated as music.

About Shortcut Menu (Audiobook):

Long press [Menu/Select] (5/88) in audiobook folders for file management:

  • MultiSelect: Select music/files one by one.
  • All Select: Select all books/files in the current folder.
  • Delete File: Delete selected music.

About Bookmark Lists:

In the audiobook playback window, long press [Menu/Select] (5/88) to activate bookmarking. Created bookmarks are saved in the Audiobook Bookmark lists.

Long press [Menu/Select] (5/88) in the bookmark list to access a shortcut menu for selecting all, multi-selecting, and deleting bookmarks.

About Settings (Audiobook):

Settings available for audiobooks:

  • Shuffle: Enable/disable shuffle mode.
  • Repeat: Options include List loop, Single loop, Off.
  • Speed: Adjust playback speed (Slow, Normal, Fast, Fastest).
  • Time off: Set stop playing time (Off, 10min, 20min, 30min, 60min).

FM Radio

Tune into FM radio stations.

About Shortcut Menu (FM Radio):

Long press [Menu/Select] (5/88) in the radio broadcast window to access the shortcut menu:

  • Play: Play the current channel.
  • Pause: Pause playback.
  • Channel List: View saved channels for auto and manual search.
  • Frequency Range: Change frequency area (America, Asia, Australia, Europe, Japan).
  • Re-search Channel: Start Auto Channel Search.
  • Audio output: Switch between Headset and Speaker output (short press [OK]).
  • Record FM: Turn on radio recording. Recordings are stored in "Recording files".

FAQ (FM Radio):

  1. Is wired headset required as antenna to use FM radio? Yes, a wired headset must be connected to start FM Radio.
  2. Is Bluetooth headphone available for radio? Yes, but it is recommended to plug in a wired headset first before connecting a Bluetooth headset.
  3. How to search for a station manually? Short press [OK] in the FM window to call up manual channel search. Use the click wheel to adjust frequency. Short press [OK] again to save the channel.
  4. Can I record FM radio and how? Long press [Menu/Select] (5/88) to activate the shortcut menu, select "Record FM" to start recording. A flashing recording logo appears in the upper left corner. Short press [OK] to save the recording.

View your photos on the device.

  • Delete: Delete selected folder/file/picture.
  • MultiSelect: Activate multiple selection and select files one by one.
  • All Select: Select all folders or files at once.
  • Rename: Rename the current folder or file.
  • As Wallpaper: Set the current picture as desktop or global wallpaper.

FAQ (Photo):

  1. Why is the desktop background blurry? Ensure picture pixels are greater than 480 x 360. Go to Settings > Wallpaper and set "Ground glass" to Off.
  2. What image formats are compatible? .PNG and .JPG are supported.
  3. Can I edit pictures? Only renaming is available; no other editing options are provided.
  4. How to operate the input keyboard for renaming? Refer to the "About Search" section in the Music chapter.

  1. How to connect or disconnect devices?
    • Connect: After enabling Bluetooth, available devices are listed. Swipe the click wheel to locate the target device, then short press [OK] to pair and connect.
    • Disconnect: Locate the connected device in "My Device", short press [OK] to disconnect.
  2. How to remove a device from my device list? Locate the target device in "My Device", long press [OK] to remove it.
  3. How to refresh the device list? Turn Bluetooth off and then back on.

Settings Options:

  • Clear cache: Clears system cache to resolve performance issues.
  • Timed shutdown: Set timed shutdown (Off, 10min, 20min, 30min, 60min, 90min, 120min). Short press [OK] to switch.
  • Shuffle: Shuffle on or off (music only). Short press [OK] to switch.
  • Repeat: Change loop mode (Off, List loop, Single loop) (music only). Short press [OK] to switch.
  • Equalizer: Provides 10 preset styles (Normal, Classical, Dance, Flat, Folk, Heavy Metal, Hip Hop, Jazz, Pop, Rock) and allows EQ customization. The currently running style is marked green, the selected style is light blue.
  • Sort by: Sort files/tracks by name or creation time (Name A-Z, Name Z-A, Time, Time reversal).
  • Key lock: Enable/disable keylock.
    • On: In power-saving mode, commands only execute after waking the screen with [OK], preventing accidental presses.
    • Off: In power-saving mode, any key press executes the command immediately, potentially interrupting playback.
  • Key tone: Enable/disable key tone. Short press [OK] to switch.
  • Key vibration: Enable/disable key vibration. Short press [OK] to switch.
  • Wallpaper: Change device desktop or global wallpaper. Note: Setting "Ground glass" to "On" may blur the wallpaper.
  • Backlight: Adjust backlight time (10s, 15s, 30s, 45s, 60s, 2m, 5m, Always). Short press [OK] to switch. The screen turns off and enters power-saving mode after the set idle time.
  • Brightness: Adjust screen brightness by sliding the click wheel.
  • Display battery: Choose whether to display the battery percentage in the title bar.
  • Date & Time: Set device date, time, and time format.
  • Language: Set the device language.
  • Factory reset: Resets the device to factory settings. Warning: all saved files will be deleted.
  • About: View device information.

  1. How to use custom EQ? Navigate to Settings > Equalizer, long press [OK] to activate custom EQ. Press [Next] (▶▶) to switch bands and use the click wheel to adjust values. Select "Reset" to restore defaults.
  2. How do shuffle and repeat work together?
