Setup Steps

Step 1: Get the D-Link Wi-Fi App
Download the D-Link Wi-Fi app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You can also scan the QR code provided to find the app. The app icon features a Wi-Fi symbol.

Step 2: Connect the Router
Connect the power adapter to the router and plug it into a power outlet. Connect the Ethernet cable from your modem to the router's WAN port.

Step 3: Wait for Boot-up
Allow the router to boot up. This process typically takes less than 120 seconds (⏳ < 120s).

Step 4: Check Router Lights
Observe the indicator lights on the router. These lights will show the status of the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands.

Step 5: Connect to Wi-Fi
On your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop), connect to the Wi-Fi network using the SSID and Password found on the Quick Install Card. You will see Wi-Fi symbols indicating network availability.

Step 6: Access Setup Interface
Open a web browser on your connected device and navigate to http://dlinkrouter.local. to complete the setup process.
