Intended Purpose
Reagent for the automatic dilution of blood samples in Starrsed ESR analyzers.
Instructions For Use
The product is for use on the Starrsed analyzers only. See the instrument manual for detailed instructions.
- Remove the cap from the new container, using the container cap tool A0033594.
- Remove the cap with pickup tube from the empty reagent container.
- Replace the empty container with the new one.
- Place cap with pickup tube on the new container. Avoid touching the pickup tube which goes into the container.
Chemical/Physical Data
Contains a slightly hypertonic amount of citrate (<3.5 % by weight) and preservative (4 % by weight).
Packaging
Starrsed DL is supplied in 10 Liter jerrycans, LxWxH = approx.23x19x31 cm.
Safety
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to this product must be reported to the distributor and/or manufacturer and the competent local authorities.

Storage and Stability
- Transport stability at 5 - 60 °C (maximum of 1 month)
- Shelf life after production: 2 years, but no longer than the expiry date.
- Store at 5 - 35 °C in dry conditions in well sealed containers.
- In-use stability: Maximum of 3 months at advised temperature of 5 - 30°C.
Ecological Information
Generally not hazardous for water.
Waste Treatment and Cleaning
Avoid discharge to lakes, streams, sewers, etc. Disposal must be made according to official regulations. Wherever possible cleaning should be performed with normal cleaning agents. Avoid use of solvents.
