Retain this instruction manual for future reference: Please read these instructions carefully prior to start-up and use. Failure to follow any of these instructions could void product warranties. LogiCO2 assumes no responsibility for claims arising out of improper or careless use or handling of their products. Function Enrichment Valve is an accessory for LogiCO2 Grow CO2 Enrichment Controller. The Grow CO2 Enrichment Controller is a device that measures the concentration of CO2 in the ambient environment of the room being controlled and opens/closes the dispenser valve, to achieve a perfect CO2 environment in the grow room. Enrichment Valve consists of a magnetic valve with filter, electronics box and cabling. The Enrichment Valve is designed for usage of CO2 with a pressure of 0,15 to 30 bar or 2,2 to 435 Psi. Enrichment Valve has a 1 meter Cat5 cable from the electronics box, with a blue RJ45 connector that is plugged in to the blue cable side of the Grow CO2 Enrichment Controller. Install the electronics box in a suitable place where it is mechanically protected. Remove the cover by turning it counterclockwise 1/8 turn to access the mounting screw holes. LogiCO2 International Changing CO2 target setpoint on Grow CO2 Controller Press the button setpoint. to adjust the CO2 target The setpoint for the target CO2 concentration is adjustable from 700 to 2000 ppm in steps of 50 ppm. The default setpoint is 1200 ppm. Setpoint "OFF" stops the CO2 regulation. CO2 Safety System - Mk9 What to do in case of an ALARM? 1. Keep Calm! 2. Turn off the sounding alarm on the Central Unit by pressing the RESET button on the front. 3. Check the type of alarm and which Sensor is giving the alarm by following the instructions below. INDICATION Central Unit: · The red diode is ON · Constant sound signal Display: · Sensor number, alternating ALARM and CO2 % Central Unit: · The red diode is blinking · Beeping sound signal Display: · Sensor number, alternating ALARM and CO2 % Central Unit: · The red diode is blinking · Beeping sound signal Display: · Sensor number, alternating ALARM and CO2 ppm value CO2-Sensor: · Beeping sound signal every 5 seconds Display: · High and CO2 % Central Unit: · The yellow diode is blinking · Beeping sound signal Display: · Sensor number, (Fault information) After an alarm, always reset the system. To insure that communication, warning lamps and sounders function. CAUSE ACTION HIGH-ALARM ! TAKE PRECAUTIONS High concentration of CO2 DO NOT ENTER the risk zone. Evacuate the area. Call the fire department. LOW-ALARM High concentration of CO2 A service technician should only enter the room under the supervision of another person. Open the doors and the windows as much as possible. TWA-ALARM There is a small CO2 leak that has lasted for over 8 hours CO2 AWARENESS INDICATION Open the doors and the windows as much as possible. Find and stop the leakage, if not found, call service. Phone: .................................. Be aware that the CO2 concentration is over 5000 ppm. There is no danger. SYSTEM FAULT ALARM RESET ALARM TEST Check the manual, communication cables and CO2-Sensor. If no fault is found, call service. Phone: .................................. Possibility to expand with up to twelve Grow CO2 Enrichment Controllers/ Mk9/mk90 CO2 Sensors 2 Annual function control of the Enrichment Valve with filter Instruction on how to clean the filter on the Enrichment Valve Please observe that the flow of CO2 must be turned off manually, by closing the emergency safety valve and verify that there is no gas pressure in the system. This is very important since you are about to open the system to clean the filter. Any debris should be caught inside the filter. By using a socket wrench, carefully remove the filter from the valve and clean it. After cleaning, make sure that the filtergasket is in place and mount the filter again firmly. Carefully open the emergency safety valve to allow the flow of CO2 again.
