Written By: Tony Wang
Introduction
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for replacing a missing or broken knob on a Farberware FSTO100 toaster oven/broiler using glue and pliers.
Tools Required
- Large Needle Nose Pliers
- Polyurethane Glue
Step-by-Step Replacement
Step 1: Prepare the Knob
Inspect the knob. If the knob has fallen off, ensure the metal tab that connects it to the oven's shaft is still in place. If the metal tab is missing or dislodged, use the needle nose pliers to carefully insert it into the horizontal slot on the knob.

Step 2: Apply Adhesive
Apply a small amount of polyurethane glue to the inside of the knob where it will connect to the oven's shaft.

Step 3: Reattach the Knob
Carefully attach the knob to its original position on the Farberware FSTO100 toaster oven/broiler's control shaft. Ensure it is aligned correctly. Allow the glue to dry completely according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Visual Description: A hand is shown pressing the prepared knob onto the control shaft of a Farberware toaster oven/broiler. The oven's control panel, showing temperature settings, is visible.
After the knob is securely attached and the glue is dry, reassemble any other parts of the appliance in the reverse order of disassembly.
