2011/10 Roadtrek: Fuel Efficient Motorhomes You'll Love to Drive!
#1 Selling Class B Motorhome! Since 1990
You've Got It ALL!
Roadtrek offers the comforts of a larger motorhome with the parking ease, drivability, and styling of a large crossover or luxury van. Whether you're heading cross-country or cross-town, enjoy all the comforts of home: your own bathroom, change room, kitchen, bedroom, and place to relax, combined with the performance, fuel economy, parking ease, and towing capacity of a van. This makes Roadtrek the #1 selling class B motorhome (camper van) in North America since 1990.
Comfort First - Always!
Experience a superior driving experience with lumbar supports in the front captain's seats, ample legroom, automatic on/off headlights, a large panoramic windshield, and oversized windows. After a day on the road, relax in home-style comfort. Roadtreks sleep up to four, with options for single beds up front and a king-size bed in the rear.
Go Ahead - Stretch Out!
Swivel the captain's seats to create a spacious seating area. On some models, four seats at the front provide more openness for dining or socializing. A third seat and a front captain's seat offer a convenient dining area, allowing the rear to remain set up for sleeping. This offers flexibility for different schedules and eliminates the need to convert seating into a bed daily.
Hold Your Head High!
Chevy models feature a lowered floor for increased headroom without a high roof, improving fuel economy, handling, and appearance. The wider aisle (up to 30 inches) allows for easy passage. Privacy is ensured with bi-fold doors that create a temporary enclosed bathroom or changing room. The galley sink can be used for washing or shaving with a hygienic sink liner, keeping it clean for food preparation. These doors can also create separate sleeping quarters.
Pack Up & Pack It In!
Roadtrek offers ample storage, with up to 81 cubic feet in some models. Water tanks are located below the floor, and some models feature cavernous exterior storage compartments. Chevy-based Roadtreks are equipped with a 'Dometic' heat pump (air conditioner and heater) built into the roof, providing comfort without the need for external units. Easy service access and external water drainage are also features.
Unique... Innovative... Exceptional!
Roadtreks are recognized for their original thinking, holding 15 Canadian and American patents. Features include integrated refrigerator vents, secure fresh water fill access, a macerator sewage pump, a cloverleaf dining table, temporarily enclosed bathrooms, stand-up aisle showers, lowered floors, built-in heat pumps, under-floor storage compartments, and dual-layer foam beds.
Get a Handle on This!
Roadtreks are nimble, responsive, and a pleasure to drive, offering outstanding handling and safety due to their lower center of gravity and water tanks positioned close to the axles. The longer wheelbase provides superior highway stability. Chevrolet's body-on-frame construction, short rear overhang, and transmission modes enhance towing performance. Their compact size makes parking easy, allowing access to intimate campsites. Features like rear window defrosters and a less conspicuous design help avoid RV parking restrictions.
More GO for your DOUGH!
Roadtreks offer exceptional fuel economy due to their aerodynamic shape and lower overall size and weight, outperforming larger motorhomes and higher-roofed class B vehicles. The lowered floor on Chevy models contributes to a low, sweeping roof, and the heat pump is integrated into the rear.
Broaden Your Adventures with Four-Wheel-Drive
(In U.S. only) For those seeking to explore off the beaten path, Roadtrek offers an available four-wheel-drive system (on 190 models) provided by Quigley Motor Co. This system enhances traction and all-weather safety for snow, sand, or towing.
RS-Adventurous on the Sprinter Van
The RS-Adventurous combines Mercedes-Benz engineering with Roadtrek's RV design. It features a fuel-efficient CRD turbo diesel V6 engine, adaptive Electronic Stability Program (ESP), traction control, anti-lock brakes, and rack and pinion steering. The interior offers flexible seating arrangements, including optional folding mattresses for front sleeping and a power sofa that converts to beds. The Sprinter-based models offer a permanently enclosed bathroom and a unique door system for aisle width.
SS-Agile and NEW SS-Ideal on the Sprinter Van
The SS models are based on the 144" wheelbase Sprinter 2500 van, offering a compact size with full motorhome conveniences and great fuel economy. The SS-Agile is designed for five passengers with forward-facing seating and a permanent bathroom. The SS-Ideal features a unique slide-out room, increasing living space when parked and allowing for a larger bathroom, fridge, and more storage. The slide-out also accommodates a convertible bed/sofa.
