Uplift True Wireless Bluetooth Speaker EM-JA027 Quick Start Guide

Thank you for choosing The House of Marley. This guide will help you set up and use your Uplift speaker.

ATTENTION: PLEASE READ QUICK START GUIDE BEFORE USE.

Product Components

Your Uplift speaker package includes the following:

  • A. Mains Power Socket: For connecting the power adapter.
  • B. AUX In: 3.5mm audio input jack for wired connections.
  • C. RCA Line In: Left and Right RCA input jacks for audio sources.
  • D. LEFT SPEAKER OUT: Output connector for the passive left speaker.
  • E. LEFT SPEAKER IN: Input connector for the passive left speaker.
  • F. Status LED: Indicates the speaker's current status.

Controls

The main speaker unit features the following controls:

  • G. Volume Down / Skip Backward: Press to decrease volume. Press and hold for 2 seconds to skip to the previous track (⏪).
  • H. Volume Up / Skip Foward: Press to increase volume. Press and hold for 2 seconds to skip to the next track (⏩).
  • I. Play/Pause: Press to play or pause audio playback (▶️||).
  • J. Power / Mode Select: Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on/off. Short press to cycle through input modes (Bluetooth, AUX, RCA).

Bluetooth® Connectivity

To connect your device via Bluetooth:

  1. Ensure the passive speaker is connected to the main speaker (using terminals D and E).
  2. Turn on the main speaker by pressing and holding button J. The speaker will enter Bluetooth pairing mode automatically, indicated by a blinking status LED (F).
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to Bluetooth settings and select "UPLIFT" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once paired, the status LED (F) will turn solid on, and you will hear an audio confirmation.

RCA Input

To connect audio sources using RCA cables:

  1. Connect the Left and Right RCA cables from your audio source to the RCA Line In jacks (C) on the main speaker.
  2. Press button J to select the RCA input mode. The status LED (F) will turn solid on, indicating RCA mode.

Status LED Indication Legend

The Status LED (F) provides information about the speaker's operational state:

  • Pairing Mode: LED blinks.
  • Paired (Bluetooth): LED is solid on.
  • AUX Mode: LED is solid on.
  • RCA Mode: LED is solid on.

FCC Compliance: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
