Invacare® Matrx® Libra® Cushions

The Matrx® Libra® cushion is designed for positioning and prevention of skin breakdown for individuals at very high risk. It features a HR foam base and a double-layer, compartmentalized fluid gel pouch for maximum protection of bony prominences. The cushion includes an ischial seat for optimal pelvic stability and positioning, an anatomical contour for proper thigh alignment, and a beveled front edge.

Available in two versions: Standard cover (bi-stretch and water-repellent) or Mesh cover (breathable).

Invacare® Flo-tech® Solution Xtra Cushions

The Flo-tech® Solution Xtra cushion is designed for high-risk pressure ulcer prevention. It features an HR foam base (70 kg/m³) covered with a viscofluid gel layer for even pressure distribution. The gel layer is compartmentalized for pelvic stability. It includes a black Standard cover (bi-stretch, water-repellent, height-adjustable) over a green Platilon PU cover (100% waterproof). Positioning wedges can be adapted under or between the base and gel layer.

The cushion has two cut-outs: one at the rear for backrest tubes and to maximize seat depth, and one underneath to conform to the seat sling and prevent the hammock effect.

The Flo-tech® Solution Xtra Configured cushion is designed for high-risk pressure ulcer prevention. It shares the same core features as the standard Solution Xtra but offers more customization options.

Invacare® Flo-tech® Image Cushions

The Flo-tech® Image cushion is designed for class 1B pressure ulcer prevention for low to medium risk. It features a viscofluid gel ischial seat on an HR foam base, covered with a Standard Black bi-stretch cover and a waterproof PU cover. The viscofluid gel increases the contact area in the sacral region, reducing friction and shear risks. It also includes cut-outs for backrest tubes and to maximize seat depth, and a lower cut-out to conform to the seat sling.

The Flo-tech® Lite cushion is designed for class 2 pressure ulcer prevention for medium to high risk. It is made of 100% high-resilience foam and covered with a black PU cover (bi-stretch and water-repellent) and a Platilon cover (100% waterproof). It features cut-outs for backrest tubes and to maximize seat depth, and a lower cut-out to conform to the seat sling and prevent the hammock effect.

Invacare® Matrx® Contour ViscoNG Cushions

The Matrx® Contour ViscoNG cushion is designed for class 2 pressure ulcer prevention for medium to high risk. It is made of 100% viscoelastic memory foam and covered with a black PU cover (bi-stretch and water-repellent). A second identical black cover is also supplied. The viscoelastic foam promotes immersion of body parts in contact with the cushion, reducing pressure by increasing contact areas. The cushion is beveled at the front to avoid friction with the popliteal hollow and allow for pedal traction.

The Flo-tech® Contour Visco cushion is designed for class 2 pressure ulcer prevention for medium to high risk. It combines viscoelastic foam and HR foam. It is beveled at the front to avoid friction with the popliteal hollow and allow for pedal traction.
