Quick Start Guide

Thanks for choosing the Ezlo Plus

You've taken the first step toward making your home smarter and safer. It's easy to set up your hub. Here is what you have to do.

Step 1: Install the Vera App

Install the Vera app on your mobile device. Just look for the [Vera app logo] in the iOS App Store or on Google Play. If you already have the Vera app, just log in.

Step 2: Configure Your Hub in the App

If you just downloaded the app, tap on "New to Vera" and select Ezlo Plus from the list of controllers. If you already have an account, tap "Add New Controller" and select the Ezlo Plus from the "My Controllers" list.

The app will present fields for Username and Password, a "Forgot password" link, a "Login" button, and a "New to Vera?" button.

Step 3: Power On Your Ezlo Plus

Next, connect the A/C power adapter to your Ezlo Plus. Once it is powered on, the LED indicator on the device should slowly change from green to blue. Wait for a steady blue light before proceeding.

The Ezlo Plus device has a power port and an Ethernet port. The LED indicator is located on the front/top of the device.

Step 4: Connect to Your Network

The Ezlo Plus supports both wired and wireless setup. Select your preferred option and follow the prompts within the Vera app.

The app will prompt you to:

Setup Complete

Congratulations! Your Ezlo Plus is now connected and its LED will remain steady blue.

Create Your Account

If you don't already have one, it's time to create your account. The app will guide you through the process.

The app will present fields for Username and Password, a "Forgot password" link, a "Login" button, and a "New to Vera?" button.

Getting Started with Your Ezlo Plus

Start using your Ezlo Plus by adding devices like lights, thermostats, sensors, and more. To add devices, tap the [menu icon] at the top left of the dashboard in the Vera app, select "Devices", and then tap the [plus icon] to launch the Device Pairing Wizard.

The Vera app interface includes sections for "MyHome", "Scenes" (with an option to "Choose your favorite scenes"), and "Devices".

The Ezlo Plus lets you control Z-Wave, Zigbee, and Wi-Fi devices from a single app. When you add devices such as lights, thermostats, sensors, cameras, and door locks to your Vera system, you'll be able to enjoy greater comfort and peace of mind with just a touch.

Control your home from anywhere.

The Vera app offers key features to simplify home management and allow remote monitoring.

Modes

Modes give you the power to control all your devices with a single tap. Pre-set modes include Home, Away, Night, and Vacation.

Scenes

Automate actions with Scenes. For example, schedule your lights to turn off when you leave for work or fade up as day turns to night.

Notifications

Your Vera system can send push notifications and emails to inform you or other users about events at home.

Ezlo VOI (Voice Control)

This tool allows voice control of over 27,000 Wi-Fi devices associated with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant via voice commands or scenes.
