Binding and Network
Follow these steps to bind the UPS and configure network settings:
- Scan the QR code for the WalleCube APP (Android), or search "WalleCube" in the App Store (iPhone).
- In the APP, click "Add UPS", then scan the device's QR code or enter the device IMEI.
- On the UPS screen, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to display a QR code. Scan this QR code with the APP and click "Bind". The APP will then return to the device data page.
- Click the Bluetooth icon [Bluetooth icon] to connect via Bluetooth. Then, click the Wi-Fi icon [Wi-Fi icon] to configure the network, enter the Wi-Fi password, and connect to the Wi-Fi network.
Cautions
- Connecting Bluetooth requires location, Bluetooth, and nearby devices (local network) permissions. Ensure your phone's location and Bluetooth are enabled.
- The device only supports 2.4G WIFI. If your Wi-Fi network combines 2.4G and 5G bands and you cannot assign an IP address, please separate them.
- When configuring Wi-Fi, position yourself close to the router, disconnect your phone from the Wi-Fi network, and use mobile data for the configuration process.
- If the device fails to assign an IP address, try restarting the device by pressing the reset button and check your router's Wi-Fi encryption type.
Adapter and Parameter
PURPOSE
The UPS needs to know its operating conditions, specifically the voltage and maximum current the adapter provides, to manage power status, NAS power-on, and power restoration.
How to Set Adapter Settings
Connect to Bluetooth, then navigate to "Setting" ➔ "Adapter Settings". Set the voltage and current according to your power adapter specifications.
Example: For a specific adapter, the power adapter voltage is set to 12V and the current is set to 7.5A.
FAQ
- Please use the voltage and current settings accurately. Incorrect configuration may cause the UPS to not power the connected equipment or damage it.
- If the power adapter's output voltage is lower than the specified requirement, lower the power adapter voltage setting accordingly in the APP.
- The UPS does not function as a voltage converter; the input and output voltages are the same. Ensure you use a power adapter suitable for the connected equipment.
NAS Configuration
Check the UPS connection status within your NAS system approximately 5 minutes after connecting. The check paths for some NAS systems are provided below. If your NAS is not listed, consult its manual:
