3. Safety Instructions

• This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the device in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. 4. Description

This single-phase DIN-rail kWh meter is a single-phase electronic watt-hour meter, which adopts micro-electronic technique, imported large scale integrated circuit and advanced technique of digital and SMT techniques. The meter is in conformity with the relevant technical requirements of class 1, class 2 and IEC62052-11, IEC62053-21. It accurately and directly measures 50/60 Hz active energy consumption from single phase AC electricity net.

5. Installation

This device must be mounted on a DIN-rail.

6. Interconnection to Accessories and Other Equipment

Direct type, no interconnection to other equipment.

7. Reset

This device does not have a reset function.

8. Specifications

(1) 5(40)A: 5 → (Ib = 5 A) and (40) → I max = 40 A.

The internal measurement always happens at 5 A (Ib), this via an internal voltage divider. For example, a live current of 16 or 20 A flows through the circuit. The max current for this kWh meter may be 40 A (I max).

Note: the most accurate measurement for these kWh meter, is by a live current of 5 A through the circuit.
