· Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks. Display unit for indoor use only, protect it from moisture! Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
1. Getting started/Operation
· Remove the protective film and insert a new battery (1.5 V AAA) with the correct polarity (+ pole to the left). The indoor temperature appears on the display.
· To toggle the display to the temperature measured by the cable sensor (OUT), press the IN/OUT button (under the stand). Press and hold the IN/OUT button for 5 seconds to switch on the rotation function . The outdoor and indoor values will appear alternating for 5 seconds.

· Press the MAX/MIN button (on the side) to display the maximum (MAX) and minimum (MIN) temperature since the last reset and to return to normal mode. Press and hold the MAX/MIN button for 3 seconds when MAX or MIN is displayed to reset the value.
· Display LL.L/HH.H°C: outside measuring range. · Remove the battery to turn off the instrument, if you do
not use the device for a while. · If your device fails to work, contact the retailer where you
purchased the product.
2. Installation
· For measuring outdoor temperature: lead the cable with the sensing element through the open window to the outside. Take care of sharp-edged window frames ­ avoid frequent opening and closing the window.

· The waterproof cable sensor is also ideal for the temperature control of the refrigerator, freezer, aquarium or terrarium.
· You can either attach the device onto a metal surface with its magnet or use the fold-out stand to place it onto a flat surface. Avoid radiators and direct sunshine.
3. Waste disposal
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly manner using the collection systems that have been set up.
Never dispose of old electronic devices and empty batteries with ordinary household waste. As a consumer, you are required by law to take batteries and rechargeable batteries to your retail store or to an appropriate collection site depending on national or local regulations and to take end-of-life devices to a designated collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic

equipment in order to protect the environment. The return service is free of charge. The symbols for the contained heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead.
