USER MANUAL FOR Smart Wireless BBQ Thermometer
Get to know the Device
The device features an LCD screen, a Power ON/OFF/Pairing/Stop Alarm Button, Probe Sockets, a Battery Cover, and a Stand/Hook. A probe with a cable is also included.
The LCD displays:
- Wireless Connection status
- Backlight control
- Battery Level indicator
- Temperature readings for Probe 1, Probe 2, Probe 3, and Probe 4
- Temperature Unit (Celsius/Fahrenheit)
Main features
- Wireless remote range: 250 FT.
- Temperature range: -58°F to 572°F (-50°C to 300°C).
- Accuracy: +/-2°F (+/-1°C).
- Programmable alert with preset temperature for specific foods.
- 4 probes temperature display.
- Battery indicator: Appears when the power level is lower than 25%. Replace batteries as soon as possible.
- Power: 2 x AA DC 3.0V.
Put in the Battery
This device requires 2 AA batteries. Ensure they are inserted in the correct direction by following the icons on the unit.
- Press and slide the battery cover to open.
- Insert batteries, noticing the icons which show directions.
- Put back the battery cover.
Insert the probes
The device scans for probe sockets when powered on. When a probe is inserted, the LCD displays the temperature value at the corresponding position. Insert the probes into the food, ensuring the tip is at the center for accurate temperature readings.
Download the APP
Search for the keyword "Smart Life" in the App Store and various Android app stores. Alternatively, scan the provided QR code with your phone to download and install the app for free.
Ensure your phone meets the following requirements:
- Apple devices: iOS 10.0 (or watchOS 2.2) and later.
- Compatible devices: iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, iWatch.
- Android devices: Version 6.0 or later.

Power ON/OFF
Press and hold the button for more than 3 seconds when the device is OFF to power it on. The LCD will display "ON" with a beep sound. To power off, perform the same action when the device is ON. The device will power off automatically if no probe is inserted.
Pair with your phone
- Switch on your device and ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled.
- Launch the "Smart Life" app and follow the in-app instructions to pair and activate the device.
- Press the Pairing/Stop Alarm Button on the top of the device.
- The device will connect successfully.
Once paired, you do not need to repeat these steps unless you change to a new phone.
NOTES: The product automatically configures Bluetooth upon startup and prioritizes connecting to the last memory device. If you wish to change devices, it is recommended to delete the previous pairing in the app before pairing again. Bluetooth reset and connection can be managed through the app.
Enjoy your barbecue time
Choose the food type and preference in the app for the probe's location. The app and device will display the current and target temperatures. An alarm will sound when the food is ready.
App Interface Overview
The app provides various functions:
- Device identification: (editable field)
- Meat and flavor selection: (can be added or edited)
- Customized alarm temperature: Set target temperatures for specific foods.
- Temp unit selection: Choose between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
- Mute selection: Enable or disable alarm sounds.
- View usage records: Access historical temperature data.
- View temperature trend changes: Monitor temperature fluctuations over time.
- Set and enable timing function: Utilize a built-in timer.
Note: The user interface of the app may be updated with upgrades. Please follow the instructions provided within the app.
