User Guide and Programming Instructions
Product Overview
This document provides instructions for the myTOUCH SMART Indoor Digital Simple Set Plug-In Timer. It guides users through initial setup and programming custom on/off times for lights and appliances.
Timer Interface Description
The timer features a digital display and several control buttons:
- Clock/Set Buttons: Used for setting the current time and programming modes.
- My on/off time Buttons: Used to set custom on and off times for automated operation.
- Reset Button: Clears all current times and schedules, resetting the timer to factory defaults. This button is typically located in a small recessed hole and may require a toothpick or pencil to press.
- Up [↑] and Down [↓] Arrows: Used to scroll through and set the current time, as well as program custom on/off times.
- Active Program Indicator Arrow: Appears on the screen when a program is set, indicating that the timer is active.
- AM/PM Indicator: Displays whether the set time is AM or PM.

I. Initial Setup
Setup
If the display is not visible or numbers are difficult to read, plug the timer into an outlet and allow it to charge for one hour. After charging, press the reset button [reset-button] located in the lower left corner using a toothpick or pencil.
Set the Time
Use the Up [↑] and Down [↓] arrows to set the current time. Note the AM or PM designation. For daylight saving time adjustments, use the Up [↑] and Down [↓] arrows to change the time by one hour.
II. Programming
Choose Your Custom "my On Time"
Press the "my on time" button. The default time will flash. Use the Up [↑] and Down [↓] arrows to set your desired on time. If the set "my on time" is earlier than the current time, the timer will activate on the following day at the scheduled time.
Once the "my on time" is set, wait 5 seconds, press "my on time" again, or press "my off time" to proceed to setting the off time.
Choose Your Custom "my Off Time"
Press the "my off time" button. The default time will flash. Use the Up [↑] and Down [↓] arrows to set your desired off time.
Once the "my off time" is set, wait 5 seconds, press "my off time" again, or press the "my on time" button to set the next on time.
Note: When a "my on" or "my off" time is set, the active program indicator arrow will appear on the screen next to the corresponding button.
Default "My On" / "My Off" Times
- 5:00 p.m.
- 6:00 p.m.
- 12:00 a.m.
- 6:00 a.m.
