XT System Design Guide

XT System Design

The XT System offers flexible design options for monitoring centers, connecting via dialer, cellular, or network. The XT50 includes a built-in 1100 Wireless Receiver, while the XT30 requires an external 1100DH for wireless capabilities. Cellular connectivity can be added using the 263LTE-V (Verizon) or 263LTE-A (AT&T) modules.

Diagram Description: A network diagram illustrates the XT30/XT50 system. It shows connections to a monitoring center via dialer, cellular, or network. The XT50 is noted to have a built-in wireless receiver, with an option for an external one. Cellular options are listed. Various wireless devices are depicted, including repeaters, transmitters, keypads, detectors, and key fobs, along with wired components like zone expanders and sirens.

Wireless Devices

The XT System supports a wide range of wireless devices:

Wired Components:

Keypads and Control Panels:

Note on Zone Expanders: Zone expanders use one address per four zones. For example, a 714-8 uses two keypad bus addresses.

XT System Applications

Add a Door of Access Control

The XT panel offers basic door access control capabilities, allowing electronic granting of access and eliminating concerns about lost keys. All enrolled cards work on all system readers simultaneously. Doors remain locked unless manually unlocked by the user; there are no schedules or profiles. The XT50 system does not integrate with Virtual Keypad™™ and does not store credential usage history.

Diagram Description: An access control setup diagram shows a door contact connected to a 734 Access Control Module. The module is powered by a 12 or 24 VDC supply and connects to the control panel keypad bus via 4-conductor wire. It supports door strikes, Wiegand readers (like MP-5365 or PP-6005B), and request-to-exit buttons or motion sensors. An electronic lock or magnetic lock is shown on the door.

1119 Wireless Sounder & Zone

The 1119 Wireless Sounder can be used as a local chime with a 1-second sound, or to replace an alarmed crash bar with a 5-minute sound. It is resettable from the keypad and provides a door contact zone for intrusion detection.

Diagram Description: A diagram illustrates the 1119 Wireless Sounder & Zone. It shows a door contact connected to an 1100 Series Two-Way™™ Wireless Device. The sounder is depicted with "ALARM WILL SOUND" text. Features include use as a local chime, replacement for crash bars, keypad reset, and providing a door contact zone.
