Job Summary:

GeoSIG is looking for a highly motivated Electro-Mechanical Assembler/Technician to strengthen its production team. This is an interesting and varied role, perfect for a self-sufficient, detail-oriented professional who can thrive in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform precision assembly of complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Execute intricate soldering tasks on circuit boards and build cable and harness assemblies.
  • Interpret and work with written work instructions, technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct quality control inspections, identify defects, and report them to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate worksheets and document various aspects of assigned work.
  • Verify the dimensions of parts using precision measuring tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak and write in English.
  • Proven experience in soldering, using industry best practices.
  • Excellent dexterity with good eye-hand coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with static-sensitive devices.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Desired Skills & What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Experience with miniature precision devices and components.
  • Background in assembling miniature parts, for example, from watchmaking, medical devices, or microelectronics.
  • Experience working in a cleanroom or a clean, dust-free environment.
