Thank you for choosing the EVERCROSS Electric Scooter EV06C (hereinafter referred to as EV06C). This manual provides essential information for safe operation and maintenance. Please read it carefully before use.
Note: All pictures in this manual are for reference only; please refer to the actual product.
Before You Begin
1. Before Riding
Riding an electric scooter involves risks of injury from loss of control, collisions, and falls. Following the instructions and warnings in this manual can reduce risks, but not eliminate them entirely. Always use common sense when riding.
- The product is for recreation only and not intended for transportation. Mastering riding skills requires practice and caution. EVERCROSS is not responsible for injuries, damages, or legal disputes arising from inexperience or failure to follow instructions.
- When in public places, always comply with local laws and regulations. In areas without specific laws, follow the safety guidelines in this manual.
- Do not modify the scooter or change parts yourself. Use only EVERCROSS approved parts and accessories. Modifications may affect operation, cause injury/damage, or void the warranty.
Riding Surfaces and Environment
- This scooter is designed for flat, dry paved surfaces in an open outdoor space, free from pedestrians, skateboards, bikes, or other riders.
- Never use the scooter in roadways, near motor vehicles, steep inclines, steps, swimming pools, or other bodies of water. Avoid construction sites, sudden surface changes, drainage grates, potholes, cracks, hydrants, parked cars, speed bumps, and other obstacles. Do not ride on loose grounds like rocks, gravel, or sand.
- Do not ride in snow or rain. Water submersion can damage the battery, leading to fire or explosion.
- Do not ride in extreme temperatures or low visibility conditions (dawn, dusk, night).
2. When Riding
- Always wear a helmet and other protective gear. Use an approved bicycle or skateboard helmet that fits properly and provides back-of-head protection.
- DO NOT bypass obstacles. Slow down in unfamiliar areas and when riding near trees, posts, or fences. Always slow down when turning.
- Be alert and aware of your surroundings. Your eyes are crucial for avoiding obstacles and low traction surfaces (wet ground, loose sand, gravel, ice).
- Avoid sudden acceleration and deceleration. Never exceed the designed top speed, which can be affected by rider weight, battery level, and incline. Faster speeds require longer braking distances. Sudden braking on low traction surfaces can cause wheel slip or falls. Maintain a safe distance from others.
- Do not touch moving or spinning wheels. Keep hair, clothing, and similar items away from moving parts.
⚠️ WARNING: If the scooter makes abnormal sounds or signals an alarm, stop riding immediately.
3. Who Should Not Ride
- Individuals with diseases (especially affecting the head, heart, back, or neck) that put them at risk during strenuous physical activity.
- Individuals with health conditions that interfere with their ability to maintain balance.
- Individuals whose age, height, or weight fall outside the stated limits.
- Individuals with compromised mental abilities who cannot understand the risks and proper operation.
⚠️ WARNING: This scooter is unsuitable for children under 6 years due to its maximum speed.
4. Safe Use
- Do not ride when ambient temperatures exceed the product's operating temperature, as low/high temperatures can decrease performance and lead to accidents.
- Always park with the kickstand on a flat, stable surface. Check stability and avoid parking in busy areas; park along a wall instead.
- Regular maintenance of the scooter is recommended.
- Please read the user manual before charging the battery.
⚠️ WARNING: Only use the charger and battery supplied by the manufacturer.
- Never allow children to touch scooter parts with gaps, such as the folding mechanism, fender brake, or wheels.
- Do not touch the brake or hub motor after riding to avoid burns from increased temperature.
