SAVI Controls PoE Keypad Installation Guide

PoE Keypad Wiring

The PoE 6-Button Keypad connects via a single Ethernet cable, receiving both data and power from a PoE-compliant switch or a separate PoE injector. Standard CAT5e cables are supported.

Installation Steps:

Remove the wall plate.
Remove switch mounting screws.
Carefully detach the switch from the switch box.
Locate the single RJ45 port on the back of the keypad.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the Power over Ethernet (PoE) source is rated for 30W at 48V DC.

LED Indicators

Upon correct power-up via PoE, all LEDs will illuminate, signaling the device is ready for provisioning.
