1. Product Overview
The SMPA-R1505G PLAYER is a smart player box that supports Windows and Linux operating systems. Customers can develop their own systems. For detailed configuration, refer to the product configuration parameter table of the SMPA-R1505G Player box. Customers can use the player box to provide multimedia content for displays through documents or networks.

The diagram shows the front and back panels of the player. The front panel features:
- WiFi Antenna
- Power button
- WIFI indicator
- 5G Emulation
- Copy/Erase button
- Reset button
- USB 3.0 ports (x2)
- COM port
The back panel features:
- DC 12V power input
- Power Ext Out 1
- Power Ext Out 2
- AUX port
- USB 3.0 ports (x2)
- HDMI Out ports (x2)
- EDID
2. Boot up
- Connecting power supply: Connect the 12V / 5A power adapter to the power socket and the DC anti-disconnection connector to the DC12V socket of the equipment. Tighten the nut.
- Key switch and status indication: Press the power button to turn on the device; the power indicator is green. Hold down the power button for 8 to 10 seconds to shut down the system; the power indicator turns red.
3. Instructions
- External display: Connect the player box HDMI out to the external display's HDMI in using an HDMI cable for display output. The external device can input interface data through the player box's HDMI in, and the player box can synchronously output the display interface from the HDMI out to the external display. (HDMI in is optional).
- External USB device: Connect USB mouse and USB keyboard through USB2.0 and USB3.0 ports for interface switching, data input/output, and other functions. Copying or loading data files from external storage devices like USB flash drives is also supported.

3. Wired, wireless networking and WiFi functions:
The player box can connect to the network via the RJ45 port and WiFi antenna for network data transmission.

4. Audio transmission: The player box can transmit audio to external player equipment through the AUX port.

5. Serial communication:
External equipment can utilize RS232 serial communication through the player box's COM port.
6. Extended switch machine:
(This feature requires professional refitting and is temporarily omitted. Please contact the manufacturer for details.)
7. Equipment reset:
In case of equipment crash, the device can be forced to restart by pressing the hidden reset button.
4. Firmware upgrade:
The player box is equipped with the latest firmware from the factory. Customers with specific firmware requirements should contact SCALA.

The device has been evaluated to meet general RF exposure requirement. The device can be used in mobile exposure condition, the use distance is 20cm, compliance with exposure requirements.
