INSTALLATION

Make sure the washer is in place, then

screw the 2 Dial Tap Timer to the tap.

Turn it clockwise (hand tighten only).

 There should be no need to use thread seal tape, as long as the tap seals onto the washer

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Hold the Tap Timer with the battery compartment facing you

2. Remove the BATTERY COMPARTMENT tray

3. Connect a 9V alkaline battery

to the battery connector

4. Insert the connected battery and push

in the BATTERY COMPARTMENT tray

 When changing a battery, the Tap Timer will hold the current program if you fit the battery within 2 minutes. When changing the battery, make sure the battery compartment stays dry

 Use only 9V alkaline batteries

SIMPLE 3 STEP PROGRAMMING
How to set run time and watering interval. Press ENTER to reference the start time.
 The Tap Timer will not run immediately after program is set. Program will commence after chosen interval duration has lapsed
1. Turn the LEFT dial to select RUN TIME. Select from 2 minutes to 240 minutes

3. Push ENTER the red LED will appear solid for three seconds to confirm your section. Watering will start at the selected interval
 The time that the ENTER button is pushed is used as a reference start time. To change the program, simply follow the same three steps

1. Turn the LEFT dial to select RUN TIME 2. Turn the RIGHT dial to MAN 3. Press ENTER

 Running a manual run time will not change any program previously entered. Watering will begin and end at selected run time. No need to move the dials

1. Turn the RUN TIME dial to the OFF position. While the RUN TIME dial is in the OFF position no watering will happen
 To re-commence a pre-set program, move the RUN TIME dial to any other position

RED LED - OPERATING STATES
1. SOLID for three seconds: Confirms program and each time the auto program is changed
2. FLASHING every 30 seconds: All is running correctly
3. FLASHING every one second: Battery needs changing
EXTRA WATERING CYCLES
The manual operation mention previously can be used for running an extra cycle whilst the timer is programmed. The manual cycle will run immediately after the ENTER button is pressed. The Tap Timer will resume the automatic program once the manual time has elapsed.

FAULT FINDING
1. Ensure your tap is turned on 2. Ensure your battery is in good condition.
Use only 9V alkaline battery
 When the Tap Timer is not using an automatic program, it must be in the OFF position. Turn the tap OFF when the Tap Timer is not in watering mode
CLEARING MEMORY
To clear an existing program, remove the battery and wait until the Tap Timer resets. (This can take up to 5 minutes.) Alternatively, remove the battery and initiate a manual start which will clear the memory immediately.
