Welcome to your new home with Control4. This document introduces the Control4 HC-250 controller and lighting control switches designed to enhance your home automation experience. Please schedule an appointment to integrate your new Control4 controller with your existing TV and audio/video systems. Ensure you have an active internet connection before setup.

Control4 Automated Lighting

Dimmer

Single Tap on the Top Button: Turns the Light On.
Single Tap on the Bottom Button: Turns the Light Off.
Press and Hold the Top Button: Ramps the light to 100% over 5 seconds.
Press and Hold the Bottom Button: Ramps the light to 0% over 5 seconds.

Switch

Basic On/Off switch.
Tap the Top Button: Turns On the Light.
Tap the Bottom Button: Turns Off the Light.

Auxiliary Keypad

Used in a "3-way" Lighting scenario (Multiple switches controlling a single load). Top and Bottom buttons are Linked to the main Switch or Dimmer. If Linked to a Dimmer, buttons will act as a Dimmer. If Linked to a Switch, buttons will act as a Switch.

Configurable Keypad

Features 6 individual buttons that can be programmed. Buttons can be replaced to achieve 2, 3, 4, or 5-button configurations. Programmable for Lighting and/or Music Control, including Scenes with music and lighting. Buttons can be laser engraved with custom names and are LED backlit.

• Button 1 - ALL ON
• Button 2 - LIGHT 50%
• Button 3 - LIGHT 75%
• Button 4 - MUSIC ON
• Button 5 - MUSIC OFF
• Button 6 - ALL OFF

Control4 Home Automation Components

HC-250 Controller

The main Control4 Controller for Home Automation. Operates Zigbee Pro for Lighting. Can be programmed to control compatible TV and A/V equipment.

SR-250 Remote Control

A portable remote control for the home. Serves as a single remote for watching TV, controlling lights, and controlling music.
