SHOWER ROOM DRAIN
Shower drains are available with round, square, or rectangular grates of different sizes to provide the desired drainage capacity or shape. This drain is provided with a seepage flange and clamping means to secure the waterproofing membrane to the floor drain body. The strainer is vertically adjustable to accommodate variations in finished floor thickness. The strainer at floor level is typically polished Stainless Steel (suffix -3), with Polished Nickel Bronze (suffix –1) as an optional finish.

UNIVERSAL FLOOR DRAIN
This universal floor drain is suitable for areas where traffic loads (pedestrian or vehicular) may be heavy. It is designed for use in shower or toilet rooms, as well as any other finished or unfinished floor area. The drain is furnished with a round or square heavy-duty stainless steel grate to prevent dishing. Optional variations include a trap primer tapping, internal sediment bucket, internal backwater valves, and top funnels for indirect waste drainage.

INDIRECT WASTE DRAIN
The F1100-EG model features an oblong funnel to provide an indirect waste connection. These drains are primarily used for condensate-producing equipment or other mechanical equipment where a direct connection is not desired or permitted. The funnels are available in a round design for single-pipe waste and oblong sizes for multi-pipe waste lines.

GENERAL PURPOSE FLOOR DRAIN
This floor drain is suitable for applications where traffic loads and wastewater flows are anticipated. It includes provisions for securing waterproofing membranes to the drain body and allows for final vertical adjustment to the finished floor level via an adjustable body collar. Optional variations include a sediment bucket to retain debris, and round or square polished grates and top frames.

INTEGRAL TRAP FLOOR DRAIN
This floor drain features an integral deep seal trap and a No Hub side outlet connection, making it ideal for floor areas built on grade with shallow sewer lines. The drain body includes a floor level cleanout opening. Optional variations include a sediment bucket, seepage or anchoring flange, and an internal backwater valve for back-flow protection.

FLOOR DRAIN WITH SURFACE MEMBRANE CLAMP
This floor drain is designed for installations requiring a waterproof seal at the grate level. The adjustable strainer features a two-piece beveled nickel bronze top that securely clamps the top flashing material to the drain, ensuring a watertight joint.

PIT DRAIN
This drain is used in elevator pits, pools, and trenches where a side wall outlet is required. The angle grate is positioned in the wall to prevent blockage by debris. It is supplied with a gasketed seal type backwater valve to prevent the backflow of wastewater into the pit or sump.

WIDE FLANGE DECK DRAIN
Special drains are available for thin deck or floor covering applications. A 4-inch wide flange, recessed to match the deck covering thickness, provides a large bearing surface for bonding neoprene, latex, or similar waterproof deck materials. This type of deck finish is common in traffic areas like promenade decks, plazas, recreation areas, and interior floors.

FLUSHING RIM FLOOR DRAIN
A flushing rim floor drain is recommended for use in mortuaries, prison wards, hospitals, sanatoriums, and veterinary establishments where sanitary wastes are disposed of through a floor drain. The interior surface is coated for maximum sanitation. The flushing connection enters the body tangentially, providing a peripheral washing action to clear the inner surface of sanitary waste. Various grate types are available; a perforated hinged grate is recommended for intercepting solids with fluids, while a loose-set or secured 'oriental' bar-type grate is suitable for areas with both solid and fluid wastes.

GARBAGE CAN WASHING DRAIN
This drain functions as both a floor drain and a garbage can washer. It includes a spray nozzle designed to thoroughly scour the inside of garbage cans. The top grate and a large sediment bucket intercept waste debris. A 1/2" water supply connection is provided on the drain body for hot, cold, or mixed spray water. The water supply should be connected via a vacuum breaker and control valve accessible to cleaning personnel. (Refer to catalog pages F90, F1660 for more details).

HEAVY DUTY ROADWAY DRAIN
This drain is recommended for outdoor areas such as yards, airports, and parking lots that experience heavy vehicular traffic and require high drainage capacity, especially during rainfall. The standard heavy-duty cast iron grate supports a maximum load capacity of 12,000 lbs. With a Ductile Iron grate, the load capacity exceeds 25,000 lbs.

PLANTING AREA DRAIN
While not strictly a floor drain, this product is included for use in planting areas or flower boxes, indoors or outdoors, where drainage of excess moisture is needed without soil loss. The perforated adjustable standpipe and dome can be positioned as shown or extended to finished grade for easier access for rodding. The drain body is designed to secure the planter floor pan or waterproofing membrane.
Diagram: The F1830-P model is illustrated, showing a perforated adjustable standpipe and dome, a clamping collar, and a waterproofing membrane, designed to retain soil while facilitating moisture drainage.
