Introduction
This document provides instructions for establishing a connection to a PROFIBUS PA device, the Fisher™ FIELDVUE™ DVC6200p, within the PACTware 4.1 environment. It covers the installation of the supported DTM (Device Type Manager) using PROFIusb USB.

The information presented here can also be applied when establishing connections using FieldCare™ and FieldMate configuration tools.

Assumptions and Supported Environment
The following software and hardware should be installed prior to launching the DVC6200p DTM in PACTware 4.1:

Installation Procedure
- Download the DVC6200p_Profibus_DTM and extract the folder. Navigate to setup.exe in the extracted folder.

- The DVC6200p Device DTM is now successfully installed on your machine.
Launching the DVC6200p DTM in PACTware 4.1

- The PROFIdtm is now added as a project item.

- Select "Parameter" from the dropdown menu. Enter the Baud Rate: 93.75 k Bit/s for the P&F Coupler or 45.45 k Bit/s for the Siemens Coupler. Visual: Screenshot of the PACTware parameter configuration window showing Baud Rate settings.

Changing the Device Address
