Step 2: Attaching Your Surface

2a. Alignment: With the stand in its upright position, align the kickstand of your Surface device with the slot located on the top of the stand. Ensure the screen of your Surface faces the side of the stand's frame that has the non-slip pad for accessories.

Securing the Stand and Your Surface

For enhanced security, Kensington recommends using a compatible cable lock. The K68136WW Keyed Cable Lock for Surface Pro and Surface Go, or the K68130WW Combination Cable Lock for Surface Pro and Surface Go, are suitable options (locks sold separately).

To secure your device, attach the cable lock head to the Surface through the designated slot located on the back of the stand.

Product Features

The top surface of the stand's base features an anti-slip material. This design allows users to store accessories, such as smartphones or earbuds, on the base while minimizing the risk of them slipping off.

This anti-slip feature is described in multiple languages, including English: "Anti-slip surface on top of base allows user to store accessories such as smartphones or earbuds on the top of the base minimizing slipping."
