The lightning flash with arrowhead within a triangle is intended to tell the user that parts inside the product are a risk of electric shock to persons. The exclamation point within a triangle is intended to tell the user that important operating and servicing instructions are in the papers with the appliance.
Note to CATV System Installer
This reminder is provided to direct the CATV system installer's attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical.
Secure Ventilation
Slots and openings in the cabinet and the back or bottom are provided for ventilation, and to ensure reliable operation of the TV and to protect it from overheating. These openings must not be blocked or covered. There should be at least 10 cm (4 inches) of space around the TV. The openings should never be blocked by placing the TV on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface. This TV should not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase unless proper ventilation is provided.

9) Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10) Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.

18) If an outside antenna is connected to the television equipment, be sure the antenna system is grounded so as to provide some protection against voltage surges and built up static charges. In the U.S. Section 810-21 of the National Electrical Code provides information with respect to proper grounding of the mast and supporting structure, grounding of the lead-in wire to an antenna discharge unit, size of grounding conductors, location of antenna discharge unit, connection to grounding electrodes, and requirements for the grounding electrode.

19) An outside antenna system should not be located in the vicinity of overhead power lines, other electric light, power circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits. When installing an outside antenna system, extreme care should be taken to keep from touching such power lines or circuits as contact with them might be fatal.
20) Unplug this TV from the wall outlet and refer servicing to qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
a. When the power cord or plug is damaged or frayed.
b. If liquid has been spilled into the TV. c. If the TV has been exposed to rain or water. d. If the TV does not operate normally by following
the operating instructions. Adjust only those controls that are covered by the operating instructions as improper adjustment of other controls may result in damage and will often require extensive work by a qualified technician to restore the TV to normal operation.
e. If the TV has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged.

The Power switch on this unit will not completely shut off all power from AC outlet. Since the power cord serves as the main disconnect device for the unit, you will need to unplug it from the AC outlet to shut down all power.
Therefore, make sure the unit has been installed so that the power cord can be easily unplugged from AC outlet in case of an accident. To avoid fire hazard, the power cord should also be unplugged from the AC outlet when left unused for a long period of time (for example, when on vacation).

Do not install in an area subject to dust or smoke. Dust or smoke can enter through the TV's vents and become trapped inside, which can cause overheating that can lead to a malfunction or picture quality deterioration.
Battery for the Remote Control <Warning> Keep the batteries out of reach of children to prevent
swallowing. Adverse physical effects can result if accidentally swallowed. If you suspect a child has swallowed one, seek medical attention immediately.
<Caution> Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an
incorrect type. Incorrect installation may cause battery leakage,
corrosion and explosion. Replace only with the same or equivalent type. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix different battery types (such as alkaline
and manganese batteries). Do not use rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cd, etc.). Do not burn or break up batteries. Do not expose batteries to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like. Make sure you dispose or recycle batteries per local
regulations. Remove the battery from the unit when not using for a
prolonged period of time to prevent battery leakage, corrosion and explosion.

WALL OR CEILING MOUNT YOUR TELEVISION
· ALWAYS contact your retailer about professional installation if you have any doubts about your ability to safely mount your television.
· ALWAYS use a mount that has been recommended by the television manufacturer and has a safety certification by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL).
· ALWAYS follow all instructions supplied by the television and mount manufacturers.
· ALWAYS make sure that the wall or ceiling where you are mounting the television is appropriate. Some mounts are not designed to be mounted to walls and ceilings with steel studs or cinder block construction. If you are unsure, contact a professional installer.
· Televisions can be heavy. A minimum of two people is required for a wall or ceiling mount installation.
MOVING AN OLDER TELEVISION TO A NEW PLACE IN YOUR HOME · REMEMBER Special care should be made in the
placement of older CRT televisions. Many new television buyers move their older CRT televisions into a secondary room after the purchase of a flat-panel television.
· NEVER place your older CRT television on a dresser where children may be tempted to use the drawers to climb.
· ALWAYS place your older CRT television on furniture that is sturdy and appropriate for its size and weight.
· ALWAYS make sure your older CRT television does not hang over the edge of your furniture.

Other Safety Instructions
Pedestal <Warning> Do not disassemble or modify the pedestal.
<Caution> Do not use any pedestal other than the one provided
with this TV. Do not use the pedestal if it becomes warped or
physically damaged. If this occurs, contact your nearest Panasonic dealer immediately. During setup, make sure that all screws are securely tightened. Ensure that the TV does not suffer any impact during installation of the pedestal. Ensure that children do not climb onto the pedestal. Install or remove the TV from the pedestal with at least two people. Install or remove the TV according to the specified procedure. Insert the pedestal firmly, otherwise it may come off when setting up the TV.

Built-in wireless LAN <Caution>
Do not use the built-in wireless LAN to connect to any wireless network (SSID*) for which you do not have usage rights. Such networks may be listed as a result of searches. However, using them may be regarded as illegal access.
SSID is a name for identifying a particular wireless network for transmission.
Do not subject the built-in wireless LAN to high temperatures, direct sunlight or moisture.
Data transmitted and received over radio waves may be intercepted and monitored.
The built-in wireless LAN uses 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz frequency bands. To avoid malfunctions or slow response caused by radio wave interference when using the built-in wireless LAN, keep the TV away from other devices that use 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz signals such as other wireless LAN devices, microwave ovens, and mobile phones.
When problems occur due to static electricity, etc., the TV might stop operating to protect itself. In this case, turn off the TV by unplugging the power cord, then turn on by inserting the power cord into the wall outlet.
Bluetooth® wireless technology <Caution>
The TV and the remote control use the 2.4 GHz radio frequency ISM band (Bluetooth®). To avoid malfunctions or slow response caused by radio wave interference, keep the TV and the remote control away from the devices such as other wireless LAN devices, other Bluetooth® devices, microwaves, mobile phones and the devices that use 2.4 GHz signal.

Moving the TV <Caution> Before moving the TV, disconnect all cables. At least two people are required to move the TV to
prevent injury that may be caused by the tipping or falling of TV. There are parts such as switches on the bottom of the TV, so take care not to cause impacts to these by bumping on the floor, etc.
Take out the pedestal and the TV from the packing case and put the TV onto a work table with the screen panel down on the clean and soft cloth (blanket, etc.). · Use a flat and firm table bigger than the TV.
Make sure not to scratch or break the TV.

Always be sure to ask a qualified technician to carry out set-up.
Do not mount the unit directly below ceiling lights (such as spotlights, floodlights or halogen lights) that typically give off high heat. Doing so may warp or damage plastic cabinet parts.
Take care when fixing wall brackets to the wall. Always ensure that there are no electrical cables or pipes in the wall before hanging bracket.
To prevent fall and injury, remove the TV from its fixed wall position when it is no longer in use.
Incorrect wall-hanging bracket or incorrect fitting may cause equipment to fall, resulting in injury and product damage.

terminal using a 4K compatible cable and you can watch content in 4K format. Set to [Mode1] when the image or sound in HDMI input is not played properly. Supporting HDR does not increase the peak brightness capabilities of the TV panel.
[HDMI Auto Setting] Reproduces the image more precisely with the expanded color gamut and more smoothly with the high frame rate when connecting the 4K compatible equipment. Select the mode depending on the equipment.
[Mode1]: For better compatibility. Set to [Mode1] when the image or sound in HDMI input is not played properly. [Mode2]: For the 4K compatible equipment that has the function to output the image precisely with the expanded color gamut. Initial Setup
A setup screen is displayed when you turn the TV on for the first time. Follow the on-screen guidance.

4 Enable Network When connecting wirelessly, select the access point to be connected to. To set up later, you can

5 Select Your Experience Choose the Basic experience to watch live TV and access select popular content. Choose the Full experience to interact with Alexa and access the full selection of compatible content.
6 Sign In with Your Amazon Account To use Amazon, Fire TV, and Alexa related functionality, you will need to sign into your Amazon account. Note that this step is skipped if there is no internet connection. You can sign in with a smartphone, a QR code, or the remote control. Follow the on-screen guidance.

With Alexa, you can use your voice to watch live TV, search for titles, play music, control compatible smart home devices. And you can ask Alexa to check the weather, set timers, and more. Here are a few things that you can do with your TV.

Bluetooth® device
Pairing Bluetooth® devices
This TV supports Bluetooth® communications.
Bluetooth® devices that have been registered (paired) with this TV can connect to (communicate with) this TV. When registering (pairing) a Bluetooth® device with
this TV, move the device within 50 cm of the TV. It is not possible to register (pair) Bluetooth® devices
that are not compatible with this TV. If a Bluetooth® enabled device that you have
registered (paired) with this TV is then registered and used on another device, it may then be made unavailable for use with this TV. Register the device on this TV again if this occurs. You can register Bluetooth® audio devices that support A2DP on this TV. Due to the characteristics of wireless technology, there will be some delay between the playback of video and audio.
It is not possible to use more than one audio device that supports A2DP simultaneously. For details, refer to [Panasonic eHELP] (Search by Purpose > Functions > Bluetooth devices).

Pairing the remote control
Either Bluetooth® wireless technology or the infrared communication function can be used for the transmissions between the TV and the remote control. Since voice controls (p. 14) use Bluetooth® wireless technology, the remote control needs to be registered (paired) with the TV. When using the remote control for the first time after
purchase, when you press any button while pointing the remote control at the remote control signal receiver with batteries inserted, the remote control is automatically registered (paired). When registering, face the remote control at the remote control signal receiver on the TV, within about 50 cm. Registration may not be completed correctly if the batteries in the remote control are running low. Registering a remote control Select [Add New Remote] with the following procedure and follow the on-screen guidance:

If you have problems in pairing the Bluetooth remote control, you need to reset it and try again. 1 Press and hold the buttons shown below
simultaneously for about 12 seconds.
2 Release the buttons and wait 5 seconds. 3 Remove the batteries and insert them back.
<Note> If the remote control is registered (paired) with the TV,
they communicate via Bluetooth®. You will not need to face the remote control at the TV's remote control signal receiver when Bluetooth® communication is used.

The TV does not switch on Check the power cord is plugged into the TV and the
wall outlet.
The remote control does not work or is intermittent Has the remote control been paired with the TV via
Bluetooth®? (p. 15) Are the batteries installed correctly? The batteries may be running low. Replace them with
new ones. Operation of the remote control is not possible due to
system startup when the LED is blinking orange. You can use the remote control after the LED turns constant red. Point the remote control directly at the TV's remote control signal receiver (within about 7 m and a 30 degree angle of the signal receiver).* Situate the TV away from sunshine or other sources of bright light so they do not shine on the TV's remote control signal receiver.*
When infrared communication is used (p. 13)
No image is displayed Check the TV is turned on. Check the power cord is plugged into the TV and the
wall outlet. Check the correct input mode is selected. Is [Luminance Level] or [Contrast] set to the
minimum?

in place.

The image or sound from external equipment are unusual when the equipment is connected via HDMI Set [HDMI Auto Setting] to [Mode1]. (p. 11)
No sound is produced from the connected HDMI equipment Set the audio output format of the connected HDMI
equipment to PCM.
Voice control function does not work Has the remote control been paired with the TV via
Bluetooth®? (p. 15) Check the network connections and settings.
Parts of the TV become hot Parts of the TV may become hot. These temperature
rises do not pose any problems in terms of performance or quality.
When pushed with a finger, the display panel moves slightly and makes a noise There is a little gap around the panel to prevent
damage to the panel. This is not a malfunction.
Why is the screen blank and the power LED blinking? The TV has gone into shutdown mode to protect itself.
Try unplugging it for a few minutes and connecting it again. If there was a temporary power surge on the AC line it may now be OK. If the blinking returns, visit https://help.na.panasonic.com/

Maintenance
First, remove the power cord from the wall outlet.
Display panel, Cabinet, Pedestal
Regular care: Gently wipe the surface of the display panel, cabinet, or pedestal by using a soft cloth to remove dirt or fingerprints. For stubborn dirt: (1) First clean the dust from the surface. (2) Dampen a soft cloth with clean water or diluted
neutral detergent (1 part detergent to 100 parts water). (3) Wring out the cloth firmly. (Please note, do not let liquid enter the TV inside as it may lead to product failure.) (4) Carefully wipe moisten and wipe away the stubborn dirt. (5) Finally, wipe away all the moisture.
<Caution> Do not use a hard cloth or rub the surface too hard,
otherwise this may cause scratches on the surface. Take care not to subject the surfaces to insect
repellent, solvent, thinner or other volatile substances. This may degrade surface quality or cause peeling of the paint. The surface of the display panel is specially treated and may be easily damaged. Take care not to tap or scratch the surface with your fingernail or other hard objects. Do not allow the cabinet and pedestal to make contact with a rubber or PVC substance for a long time. This may degrade surface quality.
Power cord
Wipe the power cord with a dry cloth at regular intervals. Moisture and dust may cause fire or electrical shock.

19) Al instalar un sistema de antena exterior es importante no hacerlo cerca de líneas eléctricas aéreas, otros circuitos de luz eléctrica, circuitos de potencia, ni donde pueda caer sobre tales líneas o circuitos. Cuando instale un sistema de antena exterior, extreme las precauciones para no tocar dichas líneas o circuitos eléctricos, ya que el contacto podría ser mortal.
20) Desenchufe el televisor de la toma de corriente y póngase en contacto con un técnico cualificado en caso de producirse las siguientes condiciones:
a. Cuando el cable de alimentación o el enchufe estén dañados o deshilachados.
b. Si se ha derramado líquido en el televisor. c. Si el televisor ha estado expuesto a la lluvia o al
agua. d. Si el televisor no funciona con normalidad

Otras instrucciones de seguridad
Pedestal <Advertencia> No desarme ni modifique el pedestal.
<Precaución> No utilice ningún pedestal que no sea el suministrado
con este televisor. No utilice el pedestal si está combado o roto. Si esto
ocurre, contacte inmediatamente a su concesionario Panasonic más cercano. Durante la instalación, asegúrese de que todos los tornillos estén firmemente apretados. Asegúrese de que el televisor no sufra ningún impacto durante la instalación del pedestal. No permita que los niños se suban al pedestal. SSID es el nombre empleado para identificar una red inalámbrica concreta para una transmisión.
No exponga la LAN inalámbrica incorporada a altas temperaturas, a la luz solar directa ni a la humedad.
Los datos transmitidos y recibidos a través de ondas de radio son susceptibles de ser interceptados y monitorizados.
La LAN inalámbrica incorporada utiliza las bandas de frecuencia de 2,4 GHz, 5 GHz y 6 GHz. A fin de evitar problemas de funcionamiento o una respuesta lenta ocasionados por la interferencia de ondas de radio al utilizar la LAN inalámbrica incorporada, mantenga el televisor alejado de otros dispositivos que utilicen señales de 2,4 GHz, 5 GHz y 6 GHz como otras LAN inalámbricas, hornos microondas y teléfonos móviles.

Los dispositivos Bluetooth® que han sido registrados (emparejados) con este televisor pueden conectarse (comunicarse con) a este televisor.
Al registrar (emparejar) un dispositivo Bluetooth® con este televisor, mueva el dispositivo a menos de 50 cm del televisor.
No se puede registrar (emparejar) dispositivos Bluetooth® que no sean compatibles con este televisor.
Si un dispositivo con Bluetooth® que ha registrado (emparejado) con este televisor se registra y utiliza luego en otro dispositivo, es posible que no esté disponible para utilizar con este televisor. Si esto ocurre, registre de nuevo el dispositivo en este televisor.
Puede registrar dispositivos de audio Bluetooth® que admitan A2DP en este televisor. Debido a las características de la tecnología inalámbrica, habrá cierta demora entre la reproducción del vídeo y del audio.

Emparejamiento del mando a distancia
Para las transmisiones entre el televisor y el mando a distancia se puede utilizar la tecnología inalámbrica Bluetooth® o la función de comunicación mediante infrarrojos. Dado que los controles de voz (pág. 14) utilizan la tecnología inalámbrica Bluetooth®, es necesario registrar (emparejar) el mando a distancia con el televisor. Al utilizar el mando a distancia por primera vez
después de la compra, cuando se pulsa cualquier botón mientras se apunta con el mando a distancia al receptor de señales del mando a distancia con las pilas colocadas, el mando a distancia se registra automáticamente (se empareja). Durante el registro, apunte el mando a distancia hacia el receptor de señales del mando a distancia del televisor a unos 50 cm. Es posible que el registro no se complete correctamente si las pilas del mando a distancia se están agotando.
Registro de un mando a distancia Seleccione [Añadir nuevo mando] con el siguiente procedimiento y siga las indicaciones en pantalla:

Apunte directamente con el mando a distancia al receptor de señales del mando a distancia del televisor (dentro de unos 7 m y ángulo de 30 grados del receptor de señales).* Mantenga el televisor alejado de la luz solar u otras fuentes de luz intensa, para que no interfieran en el receptor de señales del mando a distancia.*

En primer lugar, desenchufe el cable de alimentación de la toma de corriente.
Panel de la pantalla, Mueble, Pedestal
Cuidado diario: Frote suavemente la superficie del panel de visualización, el mueble o el pedestal utilizando un paño suave para eliminar la suciedad o las huellas dactilares. Para suciedad difícil de quitar: (1) Primero, limpie el polvo de la superficie. (2) Humedezca el paño suave en agua limpia o
detergente neutro diluido (1 parte de detergente por 100 partes de agua). (3) Escurra bien el paño. (Tenga en cuenta que no debe dejar entrar líquidos en el interior del televisor, ya que se podría producir una avería.) (4) Seque bien la humedad y limpie la suciedad. (5) Finalmente, vuelva a frotar para eliminar toda la humedad.
<Precaución> No utilice un paño áspero ni frote la superficie con
demasiada fuerza, ya que podría rayar la superficie. Tenga cuidado de no aplicar repelentes de mosquitos,
diluyentes, disolventes de pintura, ni otras sustancias volátiles, en las superficies. Esto podría afectar calidad de la superficie o causar el desprendimiento de la pintura. La superficie del panel de la pantalla ha recibido un tratamiento especial y puede estropearse fácilmente. Tenga cuidado de no golpear ni rayar la superficie con sus uñas ni otros objetos duros.
