Setup and Connections
Monitor Placement and Tilt:
The monitor stand allows for tilting the screen. The tilt range is approximately 5 degrees backward to 20 degrees forward, allowing you to adjust the viewing angle for comfort.

Connecting Your Monitor:
To connect your Philips monitor (models 241E1SC, 241E1SCA) to your computer:
- Connect the AC/DC adapter to the monitor's power input and plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect the monitor to your computer's graphics output using either:
- A VGA cable (connect to the D-SUB port on the monitor and the VGA port on your computer).
- An HDMI cable (connect to the HDMI port on the monitor and the HDMI port on your computer).

- LowBlue Mode: Helps reduce eye strain by minimizing blue light emitted from the screen. Options typically include Off, Low, Medium, and High.
- SmartImage: This feature optimizes display performance based on the content being viewed. Preset modes may include FPS, Racing, RTS, Gamer 1, Gamer 2, and Off.
- Input Selection: Allows you to choose the active video source, such as VGA or HDMI 1.4.
- Brightness: Adjusts the overall brightness level of the screen.
- Volume: Controls the audio volume for the monitor's built-in speakers or audio output, if applicable.
- Color: Provides options to adjust color temperature, saturation, or other color-related settings.
- Language: Selects the language for the OSD menu interface.
