Product Overview
The Portable Radio Frequency System is an assistive listening solution. It is designed for use by people with hearing devices which are equipped with a telecoil function, along with people who have hearing loss who do not use hearing devices. The system includes a wireless lapel microphone for use by a presenter addressing an audience. It also includes a wired boundary microphone that can be placed in a room to provide audio feedback from an audience or just to provide ambient sound. An audio mixer is included with multiple spare inputs. This allows for the connection of additional microphones and other sound sources such as public address systems. The system comes with three radio frequency receivers. These are used by people with hearing loss to listen to an audio source connected to the portable radio frequency system. Neck hearing loops are provided for users who have a telecoil function enabled hearing device. Standard headphones can be connected to the receiver for users who do not have the telecoil facility. The system has no limit on the number of receivers which can be connected. Additional receivers are available for purchase separately.
