Section 6: TITAN 500 Smart device operation steps
Turning on the device: Press the power button for two seconds to turn on the device. The main screen will display the battery level indicator, clock, temperature, and buttons to activate and mute the sound.
Settings Menu:
- The 'Settings' icon provides access to the device's working languages, which include German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Arabic.
- The 'Device settings' icon allows you to adjust sound level, brightness level, time settings, and view device information.
- You can locate and choose the continent icon for your search. This feature is unique and utilizes different frequencies of underground minerals specific to each continent.
Search Options:
- Choose the type of target you wish to search for (e.g., Diamond, Gemstones, Metals).
- Determine the front range of the device, selecting from options such as 100m, 200m, 300m, 400m, 500m, 1000m, 1500m, 2000m, 2500m, or 3000m.
Search Icon:
- Pressing the 'Search' icon initiates the search process based on the preset parameters (target type, front range, continent).
- You can select specific targets like Sapphire, Emerald, Quartz, Topaz, Garnet, or Amethyst.
- Subsequently, choose the desired front range for your search. For example, if the search area is estimated to be 500 square meters, setting the front range to 500 meters is sufficient. If the search range is unknown, you can set it up to 3000 meters.
During the Search:
- Maintain the balance of the device by keeping the yellow dot in the center of the circle icon on the screen.
- The device will begin sending and receiving signals, directing you towards the target with a continuous sound.
- When a signal is detected, the device will automatically orient towards the target, displaying a direction indicator and increasing the sound frequency.
- Confirm the target's direction from all four cardinal directions (North, South, East, West) to ensure precise location.
- When positioned directly above the target's center, the device will rotate accordingly.
Confirming Depth and Final Results:
- After confirming the target's location, click the 'Depth' button to determine the depth. Move away from the target's center by at least two meters.
- Point the device towards the target, maintain its balance, and press 'Start'. Listen for a beep, then walk towards the target until the device rotates backward, indicating the target's direction. The device will then analyze and display the final results.
- To analyze results, turn in the opposite direction, press 'Start', wait for a beep, and the icon to shift from rotation to forward position. Walk until the device rotates backward; it will then analyze and show the final results.
Interpreting Results:
- The device screen will display results including 'Noise Ratio', 'Confirm Target', and 'Depth'.
- Noise Ratio: Indicates the percentage of noise in the search area, often caused by proximity to energy sources, phone networks, metals, or electronic devices.
- Confirm Target: Shows the percentage of confidence in detecting the target within the search area.
- Depth: Indicates the likely depth of the target. For example, a depth between 0.91 cm to 1.24 cm.
Important Note on Analysis:
- If the noise ratio is high and the target confirmation rate is low, the device may not provide depth information, and retrying the search is recommended.
- If depth is provided but the noise percentage exceeds 30%, it is advisable to search again.
- If the target confirmation rate is less than 90%, it is recommended to retry the search.
Note on Target Burial Time: For optimal detection, targets should have been buried for many years. This allows sufficient time for an ionic field to form through interaction with the soil's composition, enabling the device to detect the target. Testing the device on metals placed on the ground or newly buried may not reflect its full capacity for detecting targets or reaching greater depths. Ionic fields are formed by radiations from gold and other metals that have been in the ground for extended periods, interacting with the soil and the Earth's magnetic fields. These principles do not apply to freshly buried or surface-level gold, diamonds, gemstones, or other metals.
