Quick Start Guide
Wired Mode
Connect the USB cable to the keyboard and then to your computer. Flick the switch behind the keyboard to the ON position. Press the mode switch underneath the keyboard until it is set to “Wired” (indicated by an orange light).
Wireless Mode (2.4G)
Take the wireless USB receiver from behind the keyboard and connect it to your computer. Flick the switch behind the keyboard to the ON position. Press the mode switch underneath the keyboard until it is set to “2.4G mode” (indicated by a green light).
Bluetooth Mode
Press the mode switch underneath the keyboard until it is set to “Bluetooth” (indicated by a blue light). Press and hold FN + Q for 3 seconds to search for compatible devices. The light will start blinking to indicate pairing status. On the device you wish to pair, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select “KLIM Shift 5.0 / 3.0” to establish the connection. For detailed instructions and pairing multiple devices, refer to the “Bluetooth Connection Mode” section.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the ON/OFF switch is set to ON and the correct mode is selected underneath the keyboard for any connection type.
Charging the Battery
Battery Indicators
The light on the spacebar indicates the battery status:
- White light: Full battery
- Yellow light: Charging
- Red light (flashing): Low battery
When the keyboard battery is low, connect the included cable to your computer or an external power source (like a USB charger) to recharge. You can continue using the keyboard while it charges.
Power Saving Function
To conserve battery life, keyboard lights turn off after 7 minutes of inactivity on wireless connections (2.4G or Bluetooth). The keyboard enters standby mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. Disconnecting any wireless connection also puts the keyboard into standby mode.
Tip: Lowering brightness or turning off RGB lighting significantly extends battery life and reduces charging frequency.
Bluetooth Mode Details
You can pair up to 3 devices simultaneously and switch between them quickly. Follow the pairing steps detailed in the Quick Start Guide using the keys (Q, W, E) for each device.
Each key has a distinct light indicator (blue, cyan, purple). During pairing, the light flashes. Once paired with a device on the selected key (Q, W, or E), the light becomes solid and then turns off. If pairing isn't completed within 2 minutes, the process stops and the light turns off.
To switch between paired devices, press FN + Q/W/E. The corresponding light will blink once and then turn off.
Note: Depending on your Operating System, device names might appear as “KLIM Shift 3.0” or “KLIM Shift 5.0”. It is recommended to select 5.0 when available.
