The GT06 is a GSM/GPS tracker designed for cars, motorcycles, scooters, and e-bikes. It features superior receiver sensitivity, fast TTFF (Time To First Fix), and GSM design, enabling continuous position reporting to a backend server. Developed with "openCPU" technology, it offers lower cost, reduced power consumption, and fast response speeds, providing industrial-level performance at an economical price point.

6 Installation

6.1 Installation location

The device front side should face the sky. When installing in a car, if the windscreen is glued with a metal thermal insulation layer or heating layer, it may reduce the GPS signal reception and cause GPS work disorder.

Recommended locations:

• Under front windshield
• Under rear windshield
• Around dashboard

NOTE: device front side towards the sky.

6.2 Device wiring diagram

The wiring diagram illustrates the connections for the tracker, data cable, SOS button, microphone, and relay. The relay is connected to the fuel pump.

Wiring Details:

• Data Cable: Black and Red wires.
• SOS Button: Positive (+) and Negative (-) connections.
• Microphone: Connections shown.
• Relay: Connected to the fuel pump. The relay has terminals 30, 85, 86, and 87a. A 2A fuse is used in the power line.
• Power: Connected via a 2A fuse. Red wire for positive, black wire for negative.
• Ignition/Control: Yellow wire for START (ON), White wire for OFF (Original).

6.4 Notices

1. GPS tracking requires an outdoor environment with a mobile phone signal and GPS signal. Metal and buildings above the GPS tracker can block the GPS satellite signal.
2. Ensure the GSM SIM card (2G GSM network or compatible 2G GSM network) supports making calls, sending messages, and GPRS network.
3. Ensure the SIM card has sufficient credit or balance.
4. Ensure the GSM card has enabled call display and disabled call transfer. The PIN code should be handled appropriately.
5. Do not assemble or disassemble the device without authorization.
