The LANCOM GS-2412 is a powerful 12-port managed Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for professional home offices, smaller business premises, and branch office infrastructures. It offers ten 1 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two SFP ports, providing a robust solution for environments requiring Layer 2+ switch management without PoE capabilities.
Featuring a fanless design, the GS-2412 operates silently, ensuring enhanced reliability due to the absence of moving parts. This makes it ideal for noise-sensitive work environments. The LANCOM GS-2412 provides efficient energy saving through its IEEE 802.3az compliance, automatically deactivating unused ports to conserve energy. It offers powerful Layer 2 switching with support for Spanning Tree Protocols (STP, RSTP, MSTP) and Link Aggregation (LACP, IEEE 802.1ax) for stable and optimized network infrastructure.
For network segmentation, the switch supports up to 4,096 VLANs, with dedicated Voice VLAN for prioritizing voice traffic. It also includes DHCP relay for simplified IP address assignment across different network segments.
Security is enhanced through configurable access control on all ports, secure communication protocols, and support for TACACS+ for authentication, authorization, and accounting, ensuring maximum security for multi-site network management.
