Choosing the Proper Location
Water: Select a place where a water supply can be easily connected for the automatic ice maker and water dispenser. The water pressure must be between 20-120 psi (138-827 kPa or 1.4-8.4 kgf/cm²). If water pressure is below 20 psi, a booster pump may be needed.
Electricity: The refrigerator requires its own individual, properly grounded electrical outlet rated for 115 Volts, 60 Hz, AC only, and fused at 15 or 20 amperes. Avoid installing in wet or damp areas to reduce the risk of electric shock.
Flooring: The unit must be leveled and installed on a solidly constructed floor to avoid noise and vibration. Adjust leveling legs to compensate for uneven floors. The front should be slightly higher than the rear to aid door closing. Installing on carpeting, soft tile surfaces, or weakly supported structures is not recommended.
Ambient Temperature: Install the appliance in an area where the temperature is between 55°F (13°C) and 110°F (43°C). Extreme temperatures can adversely affect cooling ability.
Connecting Power and Securing Space for Water Supply Pipe
Ensure the water supply pipe location is within the marked range. Always ground the product before connecting power. Do not ground to gas pipes, plastic water pipes, or telephone wires, as this can cause electric shock or explosion.
Power Connection: The 115V 60Hz power connector should be located on the rear side of the product. Ensure the power cord is not pressed on the refrigerator by hanging it on the rear hook to prevent damage and potential fire hazards.
Water Supply Pipe: Place the water hose for the ice maker and water dispenser as shown in the diagrams, allowing it to come up from the floor. A copper pipe with a diameter of 5/16" (8mm) is recommended. If the water pipe is far from the product, bury the hose on the floor and provide appropriate treatment.
