Safety Instructions
Please read this manual carefully before operating the Simrex X900 drone and keep it for future reference. This product is intended for users aged 14 and above and is not a toy.
- Operate the drone in a safe, open area, away from people, animals, buildings, and obstacles.
- Avoid operating near airports, railway stations, or other restricted zones.
- Do not fly in adverse weather conditions such as rain, snow, or strong winds (recommended wind speed below 20 km/h).
- Keep the drone away from heat sources and flammable materials.
- Do not operate if the drone or its components are damaged.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the drone yourself.
- Keep the drone and its accessories away from children and pets.
- Ensure the drone battery is fully charged before each flight.
- Do not overcharge or over-discharge the battery.
- Dispose of batteries properly according to local regulations.
- Fly responsibly and respect the privacy of others.
Gravity Sensor Instructions
The gravity sensor allows the drone to respond to the tilt of the remote controller for directional flight:
- Forward Flight: Tilt the remote controller forward.
- Backward Flight: Tilt the remote controller backward.
- Left Flight: Tilt the remote controller to the left.
- Right Flight: Tilt the remote controller to the right.

Lithium Battery Instructions
Warning: Handle lithium batteries with care.
- Do not disassemble, short-circuit, or expose the battery to high temperatures (above 60°C / 140°F) or liquids.
- Do not use a damaged battery.
- Only use the provided charger.
- Charge the battery in a well-ventilated area and do not leave it unattended while charging.
- If the battery leaks or emits an odor, discontinue use immediately and dispose of it properly.
Charging: Connect the USB charging cable to the battery and a USB power source. The charging indicator light (red) will turn off when fully charged.

Know Your Remote Controller
Identify the functions of your remote controller:
- 1. Left Control Stick: Controls ascent/descent (up/down) and yaw/rotation (left/right).
- 2. Right Control Stick: Controls forward/backward and left/right flight.
- 3. Power Button: Press to turn the remote controller on/off.
- 4. Speed Switch: Press to change flight speed modes (Low/Medium/High).
- 5. Return-to-Home (RTH) Button: Press to initiate automatic return to the takeoff point.
- 6. Headless Mode Button: Press to activate or deactivate headless mode.
- 7. Camera/Video Button: Press to take photos or start/stop video recording.
- 8. Trim Buttons: Use for fine-tuning the drone's flight direction.
- 9. Battery Compartment: Requires 4 AA batteries (not included).

Before Flight Operations
Prepare for a safe and successful flight:
- Ensure both the drone and remote controller batteries are fully charged ?.
- Check all propellers for damage and ensure they are installed correctly.
- Choose a safe, open flight environment, free from obstacles, people, and animals.
- Verify good weather conditions: avoid rain, snow, and strong winds ?.

Correct Flight Environment
For optimal and safe operation:
- Fly in open areas with no obstacles like trees, buildings, or power lines.
- Avoid flying directly over people or animals.
- Do not fly in crowded public spaces.
- Stay clear of restricted airspace such as airports or military zones.
- Avoid flying in windy conditions (wind speed below 20 km/h recommended).

Folding and Unfolding the Drone
To Unfold: Gently pull each arm outwards from the drone body until they lock into position.
To Fold: Gently push each arm inwards towards the drone body.

Start Your Flight
- Turn on the remote controller ?.
- Install the drone battery and turn on the drone.
- Pairing: The drone and remote controller will automatically pair. Indicator lights will confirm successful pairing.
- Unlock Motors: Push both control sticks down and inwards (or outwards, depending on model) simultaneously until the motors begin to spin slowly.
- Takeoff: Gently push the left control stick upwards ⬆️ to ascend. Release the stick to hover at the current altitude.

Flight Controls
Left/Right Movement:
- To move the drone left: Push the right control stick to the left ←.
- To move the drone right: Push the right control stick to the right →.
Forward/Backward Movement:
- To move the drone forward: Push the right control stick forward ⬆️.
- To move the drone backward: Push the right control stick backward ⬇️.
Ascent/Descent:
- To ascend: Push the left control stick upwards ⬆️.
- To descend: Push the left control stick downwards ⬇️.
Yaw (Rotation):
- To rotate left: Push the left control stick to the left ←.
- To rotate right: Push the left control stick to the right →.

Speed Adjustments
The drone offers three flight speed modes: Low, Medium, and High.
- Press the speed switch button on the remote controller to cycle through the modes.
- The drone will emit a corresponding number of beeps to indicate the current speed: one beep for Low, two for Medium, and three for High.

Battery Installation and Charging
Drone Battery Installation: Slide the fully charged drone battery into the designated compartment until it clicks securely into place.
Remote Controller Power: Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment on the back of the remote controller, observing correct polarity.
Charging the Drone Battery: Connect the provided USB charging cable to the drone battery and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The red charging indicator light on the battery will turn off when charging is complete. Avoid overcharging.
