General Safety Instructions

  • Follow all warnings indicated in the documentation and on the device.
  • Use the luminaire only when no technical defects are clear, be aware of dangers and risks.
  • Observe national safety regulations for installation and use of the luminaires.
  • Install luminaires only on suitable ceilings indoors.
  • Install the lamp only on a suitable surface.
  • Use only mounting materials suitable for the surface.
  • This lamp is intended to illuminate indoor rooms and work areas.
  • Mount luminaires only in dry and closed spaces.
  • Do not use in potentially explosive atmospheres, as this can lead to explosions and death or serious injury.
  • Installation, repairs, and dismantling must only be carried out by a qualified electrician, unless otherwise stated.
  • Connect the luminaire to an earthed power supply.
  • Compare the available mains voltage with the operating voltage and frequency specified on the nameplate and ensure they are identical.
  • Damaged luminaires may no longer be used.
  • Always disconnect the lamp from the mains before working on it.
  • The luminaire may not be altered or modified.
  • Do not hang or attach anything to the lamp.
  • Do not cover the luminaire.
  • Do not leave children unattended with the luminaire; it is not suitable for children.
  • Dispose of packaging according to local regulations and follow any special disposal instructions.
  • Disconnect the lamp from the mains and allow it to cool down before cleaning and maintenance.
  • Clean only with a dry, soft, and lint-free cloth.
  • If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced or repaired exclusively by the manufacturer, service agent, or a similarly qualified person (electrician) to avoid a hazard.
